The best thing for us was parking for our house was on an alley. Now the plows did plow the alleys... eventually, like 2-3days after the snowfall. So not only did we have to shovel our cars free but you would have 2-3 families all out together trying to shovel the alley clear enough that we could all drive into and out of our parking areas on the alley.Thankfully you know what I'm talking about. I hate that too.
It almost feels as though you are under siege or something when it gets like this. Because before the roads are cleaned up, only an idoit does a lot of unnesscessary traveling because of the danger.
So that means any plans you had of going out that night are canceled.
