really is going to be President, isn't she?

She's ran a flawless campaign, and barring some huge meltdown, she's going to be the nominee.

And we all know that as long as we're in Iraq, we're going to have a Democrat as President.

I think I trully underestimated her.

Unfortunately, I fear the Republicans are too.

The election seems to be hers to loose.

No steam from the repulicans. No radically conservative ideas. No strong condemnation of the current and past
President and congress for its massive spending.

Everyone points to the president, but for congress, there is three fingers pointing in their direction, on spending.(Rep and Dem) They seem disagree with pork spending when they don't benefit, but pass it when it benefits them.

So, for now, I see no competition against Hillary. We get what we deserve. We reap what we sow.:(

We need to rouse the VRWC.

:D
The VRWC is stuck trying to build a platform for true conservatives to stand on, in the flood of neo-con.sewage.

t will rise again, remember Hillary created us.;)

Did anyone hear Hillary's response to the question on the
vitrial in politics.
She cackled. I bust out laughing when I heard it.
The first true emotion, I have ever heard from Hillary(other then anger, and most of the time that was
rehearsed.)

I think the VRWC is why Hillary is going to be President. They've been rejected.

Or... have made so many mistakes in voting, that they're platform is no longer clear.

In which case, they should be rejected.

If she gets the nomination.
I don't think she has the nomination wrapped up quite yet. There are many Dems who oppose her for whatever reason(her refusal to apologize for voting to go into Iraq, plus she would be a pretty controversial candidate, among other reasons) and Obama and Edwards are still very much in the running.
Whoever does get the Democratic nomination, will win the Presidency. People are tired of us being in Iraq and want our troops home ASAP.

. People are tired of us being in Iraq and want our troops home ASAP.

The thing about that is that none of the serious Dem candidates is saying that they will immediately pull out the troops. Just like on spending, there is very little real difference between Dem and Repub.

Maybe so, but they won't keep us there indefinitely like the major Republican candidates will.

I'm really praying that Hillary Clinton does not become president. If she does than we are all going to be introuble. "This is just my opinion"

We can't be in any more trouble with Hillary than we are now with W.

Clinton is running an entirely different campaign. She's running as a moderate in the primaries, while everyone else is running liberal, in order to get the nomination. It's like she's running for the general election, assuming she's already got the nomination. And so far, it has worked.

Edwards has made some major mistakes, and he's polling incredibly lower than Hillary and Obama... and he doesn't have a lot of money.

Obama has the money, but he's been incredibly lackluster... to my surprise, because he had my vote for awhile. He's made some huge mistakes that Clinton used greatly to her advantage. He just doesn't seem ready to be President, yet.

She polls so much higher than the other Dems... except for Gore (and unfortunately that won't be happening), that it may be impossible for them to catch her.

If the republicans would just put up a half decent candidate they might not have to deal with her.

The thing about that is that none of the serious Dem candidates is saying that they will immediately pull out the troops. Just like on spending, there is very little real difference between Dem and Repub.

The main difference now is that while dems seem to be playing the game, most of the republicans don't seem overly concerned with attracting votes outside of their base. I don't see things going too well for them. Of course we will have a better idea after the primaries are over.

If through some magic, Ron Paul gets the nomination, I think the dems will be shocked at how much support he will get on both sides. I honestly think he could sweep the white house if he gets on the GOP ticket.

Let's face it, on social issues and foreign affairs we are divided, but I think the vast majority of us want a fiscal conservative in office.

Hillary has the nomination in the bag. The rest of the pretenders should just save their time and money. She will not, however be the next president.

I don't understand this. The war is so unpopular that the Republican cannot win if we are still in Iraq. The top two issues in the country are Iraq and healthcare. The Republicans are against the public on Iraq (except for Ron Paul... but you can't spam your way to the nomination) and none of them are even mentioning healthcare. What platform will they win on?

I see two ways a Republican has the chance to win. One, after the primaries, Repubs in Congress side with the Dems and pull us out of Iraq, or two the Republican candidate flip flops on Iraq... but even then, the nation will notice.

Yes. Run Gore again.

He has all the Charisma of a wood plank, and a plank is more interesting and useful.

This isn't 2000 (when Gore won the popular election).

Gore is loved these days by everyone but the far-right GW deniers.

First: there is some radical conservative. We have our own right wing Ralph Nader now in the candidate Ron Paul. Romney also seems to be somewhat hardline. I disagree with some of those sentiments. but I agree that Congress is as much to blame for the out of control spending.

I doubt that we'll ever have a viable Presidential candidate with new ideas, and not beholden to the Republicrat establishment until we eliminate the electoral college.

Do you think that the Republicans and Democrats are really that similar and why do you think the status quo is unfair?

Just because we do not call the Democrats 'the Socialist Party' and the Republicans the 'Vast Right Wing Conspiracy' does not mean that we have an unfair system.
