I REALLY COULDN'T EXPLAIN IT ANY BETTER:

[from the end of On Heresies] [Saint John of Damascus, Writings, Tr. F.H. Chase, The Fathers of the Church, Catholic University, 1958. p. 161-3.]

We believe in Father and Son and Holy Ghost;
one Godhead in three hypostases;
one will, one operation, alike in three persons;
wisdom incorporeal, uncreated, immortal, incomprehensible,
without beginning, unmoved, unaffected, without quantity,
without quality, ineffable, immutable, unchangeable, uncontained,
equal in glory, equal in power, equal in majesty, equal in might, equal in nature,
exceedingly substantial, exceedingly good,
thrice radiant, thrice bright, thrice brilliant.

Light is the Father, Light the Son, Light the Holy Ghost;
Wisdom the Father, Wisdom the Son, Wisdom the Holy Ghost;
one God and not three Gods;
one Lord the Holy Trinity discovered in three hypostases.

Father is the Father, and unbegotten;
Son is the Son, begotten and not unbegotten, for He is from the Father;
Holy Ghost, not begotten but proceeding, for He is from the Father.

There is nothing created, nothing of the first and second order, nothing lord and servant;
but there is unity and trinity
- there was, there is, and there shall be forever -
which is perceived and adored by faith -
by faith, not by inquiry, nor by searching out, nor by visible manifestation;
for the more He is sought out, the more He is unknown, and the more He is investigated, the more He is hidden.

And so, let the faithful adore God with a mind that is not overcurious. And believe that He is God in three hypostases, although the manner in which He is so is beyond manner, for God is incomprehensible. Do not ask how the Trinity is Trinity, for the Trinity is inscrutable.

But, if you are curious about God, first tell me of yourself and the things that pertain to you. How does your soul have existence? How is your mind set in motion? How do you produce your mental concepts? How is it that you are both mortal and immortal? But, if you are ignorant of these things which are within you, then why do you not shudder at the thought of investigating the sublime things of heaven?

Think of the Father as a spring of life begetting the Son like a river and the Holy Ghost like a sea, for the spring and the river and sea are all one nature.

Think of the Father as a root, and of the Son as a branch, and the Spirit as a fruit, for the substance in these three is one.

The Father is a sun with the Son as rays and the Holy Ghost as heat.

The Holy Trinity transcends by far every similitude and figure. So, when you hear of an offspring of the Father, do not think of a corporeal offspring. And when you hear that there is a Word, do not suppose Him to be a corporeal word. And when you hear of the Spirit of God, do not think of wind and breath. Rather, hold you persuasion with a simple faith alone. For the concept of the Creator is arrived at by analogy from His creatures.

Be persuaded, moreover, that the incarnate dispensation of the Son of God was begotten ineffably without seed of the blessed Virgin, believing Him to be without confusion and without change both God and man, who for your sake worked all the dispensation. And to Him by good works give worship and adoration, and venerate and revere the most holy Mother of God and ever-virgin Mary as true Mother of God, and all the saints as His attendants.

Doing thus, you will be a right worshiper of the holy and undivided Trinity, Father and Son and Holy Ghost, of the one Godhead, to whom be glory and honor and adoration forever and ever. Amen

Hm, do you mind telling me where exactly in that verse Jesus said He was not good?

It was probably like a metephorical question.

And one other question.. Why do you ignore the whole topic and switch the subject? Why can't you answer to what he has posted? Why do you have to run by switching the topic? I bet you didn't even read what he said.

Shalam. Please stop cherry picking for once. I have already ready that verse in the entire context of the chapter and he is not denying his divinity. Instead he teaches by challenges. Next time post the whole thing:

Luke 18 (New American Standard Bible)

Parables on Prayer

1Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they (A)ought to pray and not to (B)lose heart, 2saying, "In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not (C)respect man.
3"There was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, 'Give me legal protection from my opponent.'
4"For a while he was unwilling; but afterward he said to himself, 'Even though I do not fear God nor (D)respect man,
5yet (E)because this widow bothers me, I will give her legal protection, otherwise by continually coming she will (F)wear me out.'"
6And (G)the Lord said, "Hear what the unrighteous judge said;
7now, will not God (H)bring about justice for His (I)elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He (J)delay long over them?
8"I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, (K)will He find faith on the earth?"

The Pharisee and the Publican

9And He also told this parable to some people who (L)trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and (M)viewed others with contempt: 10"Two men (N)went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
11"The Pharisee (O)stood and was praying this to himself: 'God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
12'I (P)fast twice a week; I (Q)pay tithes of all that I get.'
13"But the tax collector, (R)standing some distance away, (S)was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but (T)was beating his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, the sinner!'
14"I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; (U)for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."
15(V)And they were bringing even their babies to Him so that He would touch them, but when the disciples saw it, they began rebuking them.
16But Jesus called for them, saying, "Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
17"Truly I say to you, (W)whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all."

The Rich Young Ruler

18(X)A ruler questioned Him, saying, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" 19And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.
20"You know the commandments, '(Y)DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, DO NOT MURDER, DO NOT STEAL, DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS, HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER.'"
21And he said, "All these things I have kept from my youth."
22When Jesus heard this, He said to him, "One thing you still lack; (Z)sell all that you possess and distribute it to the poor, and you shall have (AA)treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."
23But when he had heard these things, he became very sad, for he was extremely rich.
24And Jesus looked at him and said, "(AB)How hard it is for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!
25"For (AC)it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
26They who heard it said, "Then who can be saved?"
27But He said, "(AD)The things that are impossible with people are possible with God."
28Peter said, "Behold, (AE)we have left our own homes and followed You."
29And He said to them, "Truly I say to you, (AF)there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,
30who will not receive many times as much at this time and in (AG)the age to come, eternal life."
31(AH)Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, "Behold, (AI)we are going up to Jerusalem, and (AJ)all things which are written through the prophets about the Son of Man will be accomplished.
32"(AK)For He will be handed over to the Gentiles, and will be mocked and mistreated and spit upon,
33and after they have scourged Him, they will kill Him; and the third day He will rise again."
34But (AL)the disciples understood none of these things, and the meaning of this statement was hidden from them, and they did not comprehend the things that were said.

Bartimaeus Receives Sight

35(AM)As (AN)Jesus was approaching Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging. 36Now hearing a crowd going by, he began to inquire what this was.
37They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.
38And he called out, saying, "Jesus, (AO)Son of David, have mercy on me!"
39Those who led the way were sternly telling him to be quiet; but he kept crying out all the more, "(AP)Son of David, have mercy on me!"
40And Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to Him; and when he came near, He questioned him,
41"What do you want Me to do for you?" And he said, "Lord, I want to regain my sight!"
42And Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; (AQ)your faith has made you well."
43Immediately he regained his sight and began following Him, (AR)glorifying God; and when (AS)all the people saw it, they gave praise to God.

Salam. Then explain dis. If God is only good, but Jesus says He is not as good as God, then where is the oneness in this instance.

Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good—except God alone. (Luke 18:19).
The passage does not read as you have summarized. This is a question designed to elicit a reply. Jesus did not make a statement that He was not God. It only appears to support your position because you don't believe that Jesus is God. If you allowed for that possibility, you would have a better chance to see it more clearly.

Jesus is posing the question to get the person to think of the ramifications of his speech. This is common tactic that Jesus uses to invoke people to think about what they are saying. He is trying to bring the person to the knowledge of who He is--that is, being God.

The way that this passage reads is as follows: God is only good. Since God is only good, if you call me good, then you must certainly understand that I am God. But, the unbeliver, as you are, are lead into error by your blindness to Jesus Christ. I hope the point is made. When you try to use proof texts without understanding what they mean, then you are going to trip over your own shoe strings, like you just did.

Do me favor, read and know ur bible before doin man-made analysis of Trinity.
Do yourself a favor and stop trying to disprove things that you haven't personally studied. You show no humility in your approach to the Bible by trying to be some hotshot interpreter. It takes time and patience to understand the Bible. You can't just find a list of verses and serve them up as some proof. It is not that easy. God read your Qur'ran.

Back to John of Damascus. And please read his article.

I REALLY COULDN'T EXPLAIN IT ANY BETTER:

Prophet Jesus peace be upon him has said :

Mark 12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? Mark 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.

Probably Prophet Jesus pbuh has explained such an important doctrine like "Trinity" in the Bible. Can you show us please ?

You among everyone else here cherry picks. Use the entire chapter or nothing at all. Or I will not listen to you:

Mark 12 (New American Standard Bible)

Parable of the Vine-growers

1(A)And He began to speak to them in parables: "(B)A man (C)PLANTED A VINEYARD AND PUT A WALL AROUND IT, AND DUG A VAT UNDER THE WINE PRESS AND BUILT A TOWER, and rented it out to [a]vine-growers and went on a journey. 2"At the harvest time he sent a slave to the vine-growers, in order to receive some of the produce of the vineyard from the vine-growers.
3"They took him, and beat him and sent him away empty-handed.
4"Again he sent them another slave, and they wounded him in the head, and treated him shamefully.
5"And he sent another, and that one they killed; and so with many others, beating some and killing others.
6"He had one more to send, a beloved son; he sent him last of all to them, saying, 'They will respect my son.'
7"But those vine-growers said to one another, 'This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours!'
8"They took him, and killed him and threw him out of the vineyard.
9"What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the vine-growers, and will give the vineyard to others.
10"Have you not even read this Scripture:
'(D)THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED,
THIS BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone;
11(E)THIS CAME ABOUT FROM THE LORD,
AND IT IS MARVELOUS IN OUR EYES'?"
12(F)And they were seeking to seize Him, and yet they feared the people, for they understood that He spoke the parable against them And so (G)they left Him and went away.

Jesus Answers the Pharisees, Sadducees and Scribes

13(H)Then they sent some of the Pharisees and (I)Herodians to Him in order to (J)trap Him in a statement. 14They came and said to Him, "Teacher, we know that You are truthful and defer to no one; for You are not partial to any, but teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to pay a poll-tax to Caesar, or not?
15"Shall we pay or shall we not pay?" But He, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, "Why are you testing Me? Bring Me a [b]denarius to look at."
16They brought one. And He said to them, "Whose likeness and inscription is this?" And they said to Him, "Caesar's."
17And Jesus said to them, "(K)Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." And they were amazed at Him.
18(L)Some Sadducees (who say that there is no resurrection) came to Jesus, and began questioning Him, saying,
19"Teacher, Moses wrote for us that (M)IF A MAN'S BROTHER DIES and leaves behind a wife AND LEAVES NO CHILD, HIS BROTHER SHOULD MARRY THE WIFE AND RAISE UP CHILDREN TO HIS BROTHER.
20"There were seven brothers; and the first took a wife, and died leaving no children.
21"The second one married her, and died leaving behind no children; and the third likewise;
22and so all seven left no children. Last of all the woman died also.
23"In the resurrection, [c]when they rise again, which one's wife will she be? For all seven had married her."
24Jesus said to them, "Is this not the reason you are mistaken, that you do not understand the Scriptures or the power of God?
25"For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.
26"But regarding the fact that the dead rise again, have you not read in the book of Moses, (N)in the passage about the burning bush, how God spoke to him, saying, '(O)I AM THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, AND THE GOD OF ISAAC, and the God of Jacob'?
27"(P)He is not the God of the dead, but of the living; you are greatly mistaken."
28(Q)One of the scribes came and heard them arguing, and (R)recognizing that He had answered them well, asked Him, "What commandment is the foremost of all?"
29Jesus answered, "The foremost is, '(S)HEAR, O ISRAEL! THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD;
30(T)AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.'
31"The second is this, '(U)YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
32The scribe said to Him, "Right, Teacher; You have truly stated that (V)HE IS ONE, AND THERE IS NO ONE ELSE BESIDES HIM;
33(W)AND TO LOVE HIM WITH ALL THE HEART AND WITH ALL THE UNDERSTANDING AND WITH ALL THE STRENGTH, AND TO LOVE ONE'S NEIGHBOR AS HIMSELF, (X)is much more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices."
34When Jesus saw that he had answered intelligently, He said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." (Y)After that, no one would venture to ask Him any more questions.
35(Z)And Jesus began to say, as He (AA)taught in the temple, "How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the (AB)son of David?
36"David himself said in the Holy Spirit,
'(AC)THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD,
"SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND,
UNTIL I PUT YOUR ENEMIES BENEATH YOUR FEET."'
37"David himself calls Him 'Lord'; so in what sense is He his son?" And (AD)the large crowd enjoyed listening to Him.
38(AE)In His teaching He was saying: "Beware of the scribes who like to walk around in long robes, and like (AF)respectful greetings in the market places,
39and chief seats in the synagogues and places of honor at banquets,
40(AG)who devour widows' houses, and for appearance's sake offer long prayers; these will receive greater condemnation."

The Widow's Mite

41(AH)And He sat down opposite (AI)the treasury, and began observing how the people were (AJ)putting money into the treasury; and many rich people were putting in large sums. 42A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a cent.
43Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, "Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors to the treasury;
44for they all put in out of their surplus, but she, out of her poverty, put in all she owned, all she had (AK)to live on."

This one example for the Trinity:

Luke 3 (New American Standard Bible)

John the Baptist Preaches

1Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, when (A)Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea, and (B)Herod was tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip was tetrarch of the region of Ituraea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias was tetrarch of Abilene, 2in the high priesthood of (C)Annas and (D)Caiaphas, (E)the word of God came to John, the son of Zacharias, in the wilderness.
3And he came into all (F)the district around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins;
4as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet,
"(G)THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS,
'MAKE READY THE WAY OF THE LORD,
MAKE HIS PATHS STRAIGHT.
5'(H)EVERY RAVINE WILL BE FILLED,
AND EVERY MOUNTAIN AND HILL WILL BE BROUGHT LOW;
THE CROOKED WILL BECOME STRAIGHT,
AND THE ROUGH ROADS SMOOTH;
6(I)AND ALL FLESH WILL (J)SEE THE SALVATION OF GOD.'"
7So he began saying to the crowds who were going out to be baptized by him, "(K)You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8"Therefore bear fruits in keeping with repentance, and (L)do not begin to say to yourselves, '(M)We have Abraham for our father,' for I say to you that from these stones God is able to raise up children to Abraham.
9"Indeed the axe is already laid at the root of the trees; so (N)every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."
10And the crowds were questioning him, saying, "(O)Then what shall we do?"
11And he would answer and say to them, "The man who has two tunics is to (P)share with him who has none; and he who has food is to do likewise."
12And some (Q)tax collectors also came to be baptized, and they said to him, "Teacher, what shall we do?"
13And he said to them, "Collect no more than what you have been ordered to."
14Some soldiers were questioning him, saying, "And what about us, what shall we do?" And he said to them, "Do not take money from anyone by force, or (R)accuse anyone falsely, and (S)be content with your wages."
15Now while the people were in a state of expectation and all were wondering in their hearts about John, (T)as to whether he was the Christ,
16(U)John answered and said to them all, "As for me, I baptize you with water; but One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to untie the thong of His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
17"His (V)winnowing fork is in His hand to thoroughly clear His threshing floor, and to gather the wheat into His barn; but He will burn up the chaff with (W)unquenchable fire."
18So with many other exhortations he preached the gospel to the people.
19But when (X)Herod the tetrarch was reprimanded by him because of (Y)Herodias, his brother's wife, and because of all the wicked things which (Z)Herod had done,
20Herod also added this to them all: (AA)he locked John up in prison.

Jesus Is Baptized

21(AB)Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while He was (AC)praying, heaven was opened, 22and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, "(AD)You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased."

Genealogy of Jesus

23(AE)When He began His ministry, Jesus Himself was about thirty years of age, being, as was supposed, the son of (AF)Joseph, the son of Eli, 24the son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Melchi, the son of Jannai, the son of Joseph,

This continual posting of this scripture gets us nowhere. Is your keyboard stuck?:sigh:

Why not give a more balanced view of Jesus by quoting the passages that show His divinity. Then I could take you more seriously.:idea:

You are constantly being debunked with the same chapter you cherry pick from. Get a clue and use the entire chapter. One verse does not cut it.

No. I will post everything you deceitfully take out of context in context. I have also gave you the cross references. Learn to think on your own and put that Koran down. That thing do you no good trying to learn scripture. If you really wanted to learn scripture would already be seeking.

You want a reference to his divinity than study:

John 20 (New American Standard Bible)

The Empty Tomb

1(A)Now on the first day of the week (B)Mary Magdalene came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and saw (C)the stone already taken away from the tomb. 2So she ran and came to Simon Peter and to the other (D)disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "(E)They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him."
3(F)So Peter and the other disciple went forth, and they were going to the tomb.
4The two were running together; and the other disciple ran ahead faster than Peter and came to the tomb first;
5and (G)stooping and looking in, he saw the (H)linen wrappings lying there; but he did not go in.
6And so Simon Peter also came, following him, and entered the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there,
7and (I)the face-cloth which had been on His head, not lying with the (J)linen wrappings, but rolled up in a place by itself.
8So the other disciple who (K)had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed.
9For as yet (L)they did not understand the Scripture, (M)that He must rise again from the dead.
10So the disciples went away again (N)to their own homes.
11(O)But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping; and so, as she wept, she (P)stooped and looked into the tomb;
12and she saw (Q)two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been lying.
13And they said to her, "(R)Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because (S)they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him."
14When she had said this, she turned around and (T)saw Jesus standing there, and (U)did not know that it was Jesus.
15Jesus said to her, "(V)Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?" Supposing Him to be the gardener, she said to Him, "Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away."
16Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to Him (W)in Hebrew, "(X)Rabboni!" (which means, Teacher).
17Jesus said to her, "Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to (Y)My brethren and say to them, 'I (Z)ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.'"
18(AA)Mary Magdalene came, (AB)announcing to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord," and that He had said these things to her.

Jesus among His Disciples

19So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for (AC)fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, "(AD)Peace be with you." 20And when He had said this, (AE)He showed them both His hands and His side The disciples then (AF)rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
21So Jesus said to them again, "(AG)Peace be with you; (AH)as the Father has sent Me, I also send you."
22And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.
23"(AI)If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained."
24But (AJ)Thomas, one of (AK)the twelve, called (AL)Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
25So the other disciples were saying to him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see in (AM)His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, (AN)I will not believe."
26After eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said, "(AO)Peace be with you."
27Then He said to Thomas, "(AP)Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing."
28Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"
29Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen Me, have you believed? (AQ)Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed."

Why This Gospel Was Written

30(AR)Therefore many other (AS)signs Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31but these have been written (AT)so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, (AU)the Son of God; and that (AV)believing you may have life in His name.

Why don't you go ahead and deal with them also. Your supposed to be Christian lead by example and see how far you get.

Are you paying attention here! You are talking to the wrong person. Please consider your speech when you post. You are not doing either yourself or others any favor by being continually hostile. Get your point over without refraining to insults. If God's word is truth, it will pierce the hearts of those who blatantly reject by the Holy Spirit guidance. It is not your job to try to do it on your own will. We all have some tenacity to defend the Gospel, but let's do it in a respectful manner.:idea:

The humorous part about this situation is that it took 300 plus years after the so-called death of Jesus for a group of men to decide this traditional view; and the followers of Jesus who did not follow this tradition were banished, tortured and murdered.

LOL! History is my strong point either but your wrong. The Apostle taught exactly what is written in the scripture and Josephus even supports that. I will go with Josephus over you any day.

I hope you understand that this sentence makes no sense.
Of course; the predictable ‘you’re wrong’ without providing a single piece of substantiation.

Which apostle? Your opening paragraph does not come from any apostle but, from creeds made hundreds of years after the death of Jesus.

When does Josephus; a Jew who followed Judaism support the Christian Trinity?
