Well, if you really need convincing, how about the total misrepresentation of evolution he makes? Evolution doesn't say we came from monkies, it says that we share a common ancestor with monkeys.

How about the pathetic excuse for an argument that underpins much of his ramblings, the idea that evolution necessitates that we act like monkies? That is a ludicrous and irrelevant extrapolation based on his own lack of proper thought on the matter.

I'd also like to see some actual proof about the existence of these giant skeletons, which he only briefly shows us. What dates are they from? How many are there? Where were they found? By whom? What are they like? How big are they?

The attempt at mocking evolution by showing the 'evolution' of the fork is actually mocking creationism and its lack of understanding about evolution, and shows that he hasn't got a clue what he's talking about.

No-one thinks that whales suddenly sprouted legs and became cows.

How are the bones supposedly left over in the whale their sex organs? Who on earth is he to be telling us this? Why does he know better than a science textbook, when he can't even remember the names of the bones he's talking about without looking at the screen?

It didn't look like a pentagram to me anyway...there was a fair amount of fabrication in order to get that map to look like one. Besides which, why would Satan be spending his time putting ideas in the heads of city planners just to make neighbourhoods look like certain shapes, which have no real meaning apart from that some people assign to them? And he clearly suffers from the mistaken belief that the United States of America is the centre of the known universe, and can and should control the rest of the world. He needs to get over his ridiculous nationalistic arrogance and realise, along with a few hundred million other people, that the US isn't all that special, and there's no reason it should be the centre of the 'end times'.

He knows nothing about what he is talking about, and is an extremely arrogant know-it-all who is quite clearly rattling off a list of lies he has been fed like a parrot.

peace

This guy is good. He knows more than me to disprove evolution. Watch it, think about it, and try to convince me other wise.

Actually, he knows next to nothing about evolution, and offers nothing to disprove it. All he has is strawmen and his own personal incredulity. That kid is more mistaken and misleading than Hovind himself.

He knows more than me to disprove evolution.

Wow. Doesn't speak very highly of you, does it? Let's go over a few of the glaring errors this kid makes:

  • The kid claims that whales evolved legs, when the opposite is true. Whales evolved from land mammals. Even if he doesn't accept that, he should at least know what the evolutionary position is, shouldn't he? I mean, the textbook he had just quoted from should have clued him in.
  • The kid claims that if everything is related to each other, then we shouldn't be able to tell the difference between closely-related members of Canidae and bananas. This is idiocy even considering its source - don't creationists recognize that people tend to look more like their immediate families than like distant cousins?
  • The kid claims that there have been discoveries of 50-foot human skeletons. As evidence, he presents images which were created for Photoshop contests*. I guess he's not very good at distinguishing between truth and untruth. (I also saw a couple examples of skull binding in there. Not even sure what that was intended to prove.)
  • The kid then goes on to use the following phrase: "The children of today are the future of tomorrow." The future of tomorrow. That's like, two futures from now.

Those are some of his mistakes. Your mistake, LuvAslan, is putting any amount of trust in people like him.

Careful, now. The Bible forbids fortune-telling.

As has been pointed out, no, he isn't.

He knows more than me to disprove evolution.
If that's the case I wouldn't brag about it. Educate yourself on the subject so you don't say foolish things like the guy on the video.

Watch it, think about it, and try to convince me other wise.
See the video here for a fine response and rebuttal of the video you posted by someone who is not only younger than the guy in your video but also a Christian. He's an excellent example that one does not have to be a Creationist to be a Christian and that understanding science isn't some plague to be avoided.

This was nonsense. Firstly, it really irks me when people relate evolution with "satanism". Does anyone on earth know what satanism is, besides myself? The disconnect there is astounding - not to even mention the fact that evolution is not a religion, it is simply a theory. Secondly, just exactly what "proof" has this guy offered to refute evolution?

Oh my science, I just started cracking up when he said "Some say Charlie (???) Darwin started the theory of evolution. Actually, it was Satan in the Garden of Eden." This guy looks like he did his fare share of drugs in his day.

As he himself says. "That's the stupidest thing I ever heard."

This guy is good. He knows more than me to disprove evolution. Watch it, think about it, and try to convince me other wise.

You seem like a nice person. But if you think this guy is knowledgeable about either evolution or science in general, you are woefully misguided. I watched as much as I could, before I got physically ill.

1. Evolution has nothing to do with Satanism

2. Yes, we are scientifically speaking animals (this does not mean we are "beasts"). Does this mean we should act like animals? Well sure... but what type of animals? Beavers? Goats? Crickets? Dolphins? How about human animals! That is what we are, after all. Why should we "act like monkeys?"

3. Evolution is not about becoming "stronger and stronger," or better and better...it is about adaption to changing conditions and new ecological niches.

Here is a good website to visit that explains the basics of evolutionary theory, and is designed for non-scientists like yourself. If you want to know what the theory of evolution really is, I suggest you visit it:
