This may be a duplicate thread. I did search and couldn't find one, but I am new here.

Any hoop...

If you could only have one album to listen to which one would it be? I was going to say song, but that wouldn't be fair.

I'll start...

I'm a HUGE Alice Cooper fan, so it is going to be a Cooper album. My first instinct was Welcome To My Nightmare, because it is one of the most influential albums of all time. But I got thinking and the one that touched me the most was Brutal Planet. It is a very inspirational album. If you don't believe me, just listen to it. Alice has A LOT of important things to say in it.

So after all this I choose Brutal Planet by Alice Cooper.

16 horsepower Sackcloth 'n' Ashes or Wovenhand 1st cd "Wovenhand"
Good picks, though I personally would probably go with "Consider The Birds" by Woven Hand, rather than his first.

This is a really hard topic. I love too much music equally to put one above another. Plus, a couple of my favorites (The Residents, Danielson Famile) are rather hard to listen to on a regular, consistant basis.

In fact, most artists/cds will get old if you only had to listen to that one.

Well, for the past half year or so one my favorite artist has been Sonic Youth... and they're not a mood band-- I can listen to them whenever and for extended periods of time. Unfortunately their discography is massive... hard to pick just one. But in the end I guess it goes to...

"NYC Ghosts & Flowers" by Sonic Youth
with "Experimental Jet Set, Trash, and No Star" being a close second.
