Hi. I don't know if this is the place to post this, but I'll post it anyway.
I'm wondering about a bunch of TV commercials I remember from the 1980s. I'd just like to know if anyone remembers these commercials which I swear really exist (though I can't find them online).
I was born in 1984 (thus, Ringo84), so we're probably talking about commercials between about 1985 or 6 to 1989. Here they are:
o An Advil commercial (I'm pretty sure). It showed someone circling words on the back of the box with a red marker or pen.
o Some kind of men's wear commercial (I think) that involved two people (a man and a woman?) pulling tags off of suits (or clothes). I always associate this with S&K, but it might have been a Sear's or JcPenney's, etc commercial.
o A Taco Bell commercial which may actually be from the 1990s. It was set in a desert - maybe with a speeding car. The jingle for the commercial went something like ".79 .89 .99!" (as in cents). This was the price of Tace Bell's value meals or something like that. I remember this commercial fairly clearly but can't find verification anywhere.
o Skip-It commercials! I remember these very well. The jingle went something like: "just skip-it! Skip-it! Skip-It!" etc. etc.
Thanks in advance.
Ringo
