Better Movies, Star Wars or Star Trek?

I cant say I ever got in to Star Trek, I got bord with it, Sorry guys. As For Star Wars I loved the orgilan three as a kid now that I am older they dont thrill me as much but I still think there good. The Star Wars perquals were the worst big bugget Sci-FI films ever made and I could go on all day why but if I had to pick between the two, Star Wars or Star Treck I would have to say Star Wars but now I kinda think that they are both a little overrated. Sorry

Star Wars would never make as a TV series. It's made for the big screen only. ST can go either way.

Star Wars has had three awesome movies, one good movie, one so-so movie, and 1 crap movie. That's a 66% hit rate.

Star Trek has one awesome movie, two or three good movies, and a whole lotta so-so or worse movies.

STAR WARS FTW!

And anyways, Vader would choke the entire Borg Collective with a glance.

Ask my wife and kids...I love 'em both!! The question in the OP, however, was which series has the better movies. I think I have to say that Star Wars has the consistently better movies.

My favorite Star Trek Movies: TWOK, TVH, TUC, FC.

Star Wars: AOTC, ROTS, ANH, ESB.....

Ooh... a Tie!!! ^_^

And i included the ones i like best, i did like the other movies of both subjects but not as good.

Never really been much into Star Wars... And to be quite honest never really seen many of the Star Trek Movies, I think Insurrection may be the only one but I absolutely love most of the episodes I've seen... I love trying to work out what the moral is behind the story... its fun.

let me see as a SW wars fan.. I find the SW movies sadly lacking.. i prefer the books
as I am a half soaked trekkie.. i find the movies kinds sloow

I can say that I love them both. However, I think they storyline is a bit more focused with SW. ST just had so much it had to cram in it kinda lowered its status. LIke I said I still love both!!!
