What Hebrew names for the LORD/GOD would apply in revelation 11:17 IF the GNT book of revelation is an "inspired" book, as I am having trouble with this concerning all the names used for the LORD/GOD in the Tananch.? [Yes, I know the christian NT is in "greek" but I prefer to use the Hebrew in it as much as possible].

Thanks and Shalom. :wave: [sorry for the color codes, but it is what I use to help interpret the Bible a lot]

Exodus 6:3 and I appear unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God/'el Almighty/Shadday; as to My name the LORD/Y@hovah, I have not been known to them;
Revelation 11:17 saying, `We give thanks to Thee, O Lord/ kurie <2962> God/qeoV <2316>, the Almighty/Shadday; who art, and who wast, and who art coming, because Thou hast taken Thy great power and didst reign;
Ezkeiel 39:12 "For seven months the house of Israel will be burying Them, in order to Cleanse/purify the land. 13 "Indeed all the people of the land will be burying, and they will gain renown for it on the day that I am glorified," says the 'Adonay Y@hovih.

Hi all!

Oh, we Hebrew folk are around! :)

LLoJ, I cannot answer your question. As you said, the original language of Revelation is Greek (not Hebrew) and, in any case, it is not scripture for us. Thus, answering such a question as you have posed about it is well beyond our purview & simply not relevant for us.

Be well!

Ok thanks. These 2 words for the Lord God in ezekiel 39:12 is a little perplexing to me as this involves the endtime shown in Daniel 12 on the Jewish Nation. Any idea what the significance of the "ih" at the end? Shalom.

Ezkeiel 39:12 "For seven months the house of Israel will be burying Them, in order to Cleanse/purify the land. 13 "Indeed all the people of the land will be burying, and they will gain renown for it on the day that I am glorified," says the 'Adonay Y@hovih.

First time they are used is here:

(Young) Genesis 15:2 And Abram saith, `'Adonay Y@hovih, what dost Thou give to me, and I am going childless? and an acquired son in my house is Demmesek Eliezer.'
