You are right. I didn't think of that. Exercising definitely should only be perscribed by a doctor. But if the person is already at a healthy weight or is over weight and wants to get leaner, than I think walking is a harmless and effective way to exercise. However, if the person is severly underweight, than with than they should consult their doctor before starting the exercise program because it could be more detrimental to their health. Thanks for bringing this up. I didn't even think about that.
