Hi guys, i'm just wondering because it says that

"In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; 14They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort. 15And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life. " Gen 5:13-15

So it says that every beast went in and i would assume that includes the dinosaurs. (If anyone has another interpretation pls tell me.) Thus, the question is what happened to the dinosaurs since they were "saved" from the flood?

It talks about a behemoth.

there was no Global flood, Dinosaurs went extinct millions of years ago...

I don't think so... Too many cultures have "dragons" and other large creatures rooted in their stories. The chinese zodiac has all real creatures except a dragon? European culture has stories about knights slaying dragons. We as humans have good imaginations, but there had to be a basis for some of the mosters that are created.

Then where are the dinosaur fossils from after the KT incident?

As for dragons etc, there are mythical animals in all cultures. Have you some evidence that a chimeara (1/3 lion, 1/3 goat, 1/3 serpent) ever existed?

Could someone please inform me what is wrong with mythology anyway, and why it isn't (in a metaphorical sense) true?

The description of 'behemoth' doesn't precisely fit the morphology of any single dinosaur species, much less the thousands of species that existed. Weren't they ALL on the ark?

Many cultures have myths about magical little people, and about half-man/half-animal entities too. I don't have a statistic, but I'll bet that more cultures subscribe to polytheistic belief systems than to monotheistic ones. But there is as little evidence (none) for these beings and polytheistic systems as there is for dinosaur/man coexistence and the Christian God.

If this is a arguement about carbon dating I'm not going there.

Look, all I am saying is that a lot of legends and myths may have some historical background. I think it is odd that soo many culutres have a creature that basicly looks the same. Not all cultures have a Chimeara.

How many cultures have trolls, orges, fairies, centuars?
Trolls and orges in stories I have read tend to walk on two feet. Human Basis for the creature.
Fairies. Majical little pixies that grant wishes and get into trouble. Look like little people, Human basis for the creatures.
Centaurs, Half human, half horse. Horses are known for strength and speed, man wants both. Created for the idea of a super human.
Dragons. You do it.

Doesn't look much like a dinosaur to me. More like crossing crocodiles, snakes and bats. I would guess that a 20 foot salt water croc would seem a lot like a dragon to people with only bows and arrows and spears as weapons.

My medieval history prof said that dragons are either some sort of large hairless beast that went extinct about that time, or a descriptor as to why certain armies failed to win in battle. Not sure what she was refering to in the whole battle thing, but this is what I got in my head:

"Hey, why'd you guy's lose? We had more knights."
"Um, dragon, yeah, big dragon, ate half of us."
