Give me roaches over spiders any day!

This morning after I got out of the shower, I was closing the curtain and lo and behold here comes this HUGE spider, about the size of a silver dollar crawling towards me in the bathtub....UGHHHH!!!! I can not stand spiders. My 12 year old daughter has to kill them for me...sad, huh?

I would rather see a snake than a spider, and my house is FULL of spiders, all shapes, sizes and colors, what up with that?

I even pray that the spiders will leave us alone!

When I was in Hong Kong, we stayed on one of the Islands called Chung Chow, to save some money. It only cost about $25 a night there. But the room came with a VERY BIG spider, I had never seen one that big in person before. He was about the size of my fist, and he or she moved very fast. It is a good thing he was running from me.

There was a hole in the wall in the bath room where the water from the shower ran outside. So, that is how he was getting in and out. I know how it lived to be so big, because it could out run anyone or anything. I tried to throw a shoe at it, but that was a waste of time. That was child play for this critter. I think he could move faster then the shoe could move though the air.

Maybe next time he was hoping for a little bit more of a challange. I am sure people more experanced that me had tried to do him in, to no avail. Thanks, JohnR7

Ooooo, spiders are creepy! I am thankful that there aren't any really BIG ones in these parts of the world. WHEW!

The only spiders and roaches that I like are the squished ones.

It's funny, I read this thread last night and I had a dream about bugs! They were getting in my hair and I was desperately trying to get them out.
