Do you eBay?

I just started using Ebay a month or so ago when I got enough courage to sign up. Now I'm registered with paypal so I can get paid by credit card! I think it's great. The rating system is very helpful.

I'm mostly selling video games at the moment, just sold Mario Party 4 for Nintendo Gamecube and am now selling a couple other games. I have a palm pilot (m130) I'm going to sell as well as Greek and Hebrew Tutor on CD-ROM. I'm having a lot of fun with it and getting much more money then I would selling my games back to a store to simply just get store credit. Good stuff!!

I've bought stuff at ebay and have had good and bad experiences. Sometimes stuff isn't what it was supposed to be. Sometimes sellers ship in inappropriate containers and things get damaged. But sometimes things are better than anticipated and sometimes they have the lowest prices anywhere, even with shipping costs.

I've bought a few items from eBay and overall have bee satisfied with the items and the service. I've been able to find things there I couldn't find elsewhere. Of course, if I can find an item locally, I'll buy locally.

I sold a couple of CDs, and bought a cheap website template.

I plan to sell off some of my other cds too.

I've bought a ton of stuff at ebay and have had no bad experiences.

ebay is a lot of fun, i've been buying lots and selling some for almost 4 years. its a good time, and it gives me some play money... i usually spend whatever i make on ebay, on ebay stuff... to add to my growing collections of *stuff* ebays been great for that, i get to turn stuff i don't want to collect, into stuff i do want to collect gotta love it!

We are eBay sellers - it is our primary family "business". We list about 200 auctions at a time. We sell textbooks. We have also bought a lot of stuff.

We have had some bad expeiences as sellers - we have had bidders who win several of our auctions and then try to make demands forcing us to do as they want or they'd negative feedback us. We always refuse to give into these demands if they are unreasonable, or if the person is extremely nasty and threatening.

Well, it happened twice - two of these unstable nasty people made good on their threats and sent us numerous unwarranted negative feedbacks full of lies because we would not bow to their unreasonable demands. One such bidder left us 9 negatives, and the other day another left us 16. Our total is over 30 now, and it really bothers me that this can happen - we do our best to ensure that our auction descriptions are accurate, and provide outstanding customer service, being polite and friendly to everyone who emails, and some unstable people can mess up your feedback with lies.

hey kukumot, i am really disapointed to hear your difficulties regarding ebay, but at the same time, i'm pretty pleased to hear tha you and your family have made ebay a career choice! i believe it is possible, just haven't spoken to too many people who do it! kudo's...

i want to encourage you to report these incidents to ebay, especially the latest one, keep and send copies of your emails with that customer... i think that his/her actions are well outside of the ebay mandate, and would be suprised if they wouldn't want to know about it... and to rectify your feedback too!

Been using eBay since 1997. I run an online eBay store where I sell pictures. I make tons of money off of it. So, I'm a big eBay fan

I use it to but stuff too, I've never once had a problem in all my years on it.
