blynn,
Sorry I am just getting back to you on this. No unfortunately, I never got up there. I got up to Manitou Springs, though. Lovely
place.
I also, made it to the Garden of the Gods. Fantastic red boulder formations. WOW. I attended Palmer HS in Colorado Springs and joined the choir. We got to sing there for Easter one year. Fantastic experience. I got a feeling llike no other there. If I had been saved, and understood the enormity of being saved, I am sure my experience would have at least doubled.
I also got up to the Great Divide. Talk about beautiful. To look out and see the silvery snow covering a vast expanse of what is truely majestic Rocky and I do mean Rocky Mountains peaking above the grey clouds. Gods imagination is boundless with beauty. Just amazing. I had never imagined I would ever see anything like it. It was so much greater than anything I had seen up to that time in my life. Looking back you really see Gods hand in all of that.

I lived in Colorado Springs for a while too. You described Pikes Peak beatifully!! Did you ever drive to the top? Did you ever go to the Garden of The Gods?
I'm going to have to get back there sometime. I really miss the beauty.
God Bless,
