    Baptism alone is not enough. You need to accept that Jesus Christ died on the cross for us. You have to turn your life over to him and trust and belive in the Lord.

    Could be tomorow, could be 10 years, could be 200 or more. Nobody knows and will not know untill it happens. Trust and belive in the Lord and you have nothing to worry about.

    I think it is something done to show respect for Jesus who was baptised. You are also showing that you are willing to share with the public you commitment to God. You do need to be saved and have accepted that Jesus Christ died on the cross for us and is the son of God.

    You are thinking about it and that has to be the work of God. You are praying about it so it sounds like you just might believe a little in him because you are praying. Give it some time, you'll be glad you did.
