  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Elisha Gonn

Elisha turned around a corner, panting for breath. He was quick to keep moving, however, for the beast was short behind him. Moving faster down the corridors, Elisha knocked things down in front of the beast, but the black fire quickly consumed it. Finally, Elisha made it to the main gate...

    Paper Mario

Occultic? Like as in a religion? Well, I don't really think so. However, there are witches, but not like satan worshipers. I mean, they fly on broomsticks, wear pointed hats, and carry around wands. Then there is, at the end of the game, this big room all kinds of candles in it, and it does...

    Elisha Gonn

Elisha stood there, a cold sweat on his brow. He didn't have long to linger on what just happened, however, for at that moment, the ERSATT gaurds, which were absent upon his re-entry in the room, came tearing down one of the corridors and plowed right through him without stopping. Not far...

    Artemis Fowl

Yeah, the wish list was good. It was kinda hard to get passed the "salvation by good works" thing, but it was still a good story.

    Paper Mario

Yeah, I think the first paper mario was a little more decent than "Thousand year door", but it's still a fun game. Another thing about the game, though, is that there is alot of magic involved, and some people might be put off by that.

    Elisha Gonn

He was in a long, dark chamber whose only source of light were several lampstands with low, flickering flames. Elisha looked around, the harsh serpent voice fading from his head. He began to walk down the dark path before him. After several moments of walking, he sensed a presence before him in...

    Propulsion by Extreme Temperature

I had no idea that ships cost that much to launch. Thats a lot of moola, to put it lightly. Of course, after I had proposed that idea, my dad came up and asked how in the world I would get fuel up to the space station. So you would still need fuel for a ship from earth to the space station to...

    Paper Mario

This is without a doubt one of my all-time favorite games. I hope that when the Nintendo Revolution comes out, they make another Paper Mario game. I mean, it's a brilliant idea. And the story lasts a really long time. And after you beat the story in Paper Mario 2, you get to keep playing. I...

    Artemis Fowl

That would be so awesome if they made a movie. It would so beat all the Harry Potter movies.

    Elisha Gonn

"Who's ERSATT" Elisha said. "Only the most feared Anti-Harym force in the Myridic Oceans." replied Aden. "Uh, Harym?" asked Elisha. Aden stared at him for a moment. Then he said, "I suppose you wouldn't know. You've probably be locked in a cell all your life. A Harym is a dark manna...

    Anybody like myst??

Myst games are really good. And for the most part nonviolent. Well, I mean, you can infer violence from some of the stuff in the games, and at the end of Myst III, if you don't do it right, you get clubbed in the head. I think that's what I like most about Myst games. They always have...

    Christian Vid-games

Maybe we just need some more clean, moral games. I mean, you will eventually run out of stuff from the bible to make a good game on.

Do Games really have to be full of blood and Gore?

I think Halo 2 did pretty good with blood and gore. I mean, it might be rated M, but it so didn't need to be rated that. It should have been rated T. I guess it might've been that Marines language, or perhaps for the Needler.

why are there no christian/bible-based video games?

I looked at some Christian game developers, and they looked pretty good, some of them. Others were poorly put together. I mean, the rooms were too simple, the bitmapping looked ugly, you could tell where they repeated a bitmap over and over again. Not all their story ideas were bad either...

    Christian Vid-games

Ok. so I looked at a list of all kinds of christian video game developers, and this is who I thought had the right idea, and those who didn't have the right idea. Boanergesstudios @boanergesstudios.com Set in the future where the nations are united under a one world geovernment. It's a...
