  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Kingdom of God

We describe God as “the Almighty” but we haven’t accepted it consciously. “The Almighty” is words to most of us, but until the word become flesh or a conscious reality we cannot enter the kingdom. Rev. 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters...

    Kingdom of God

Most of us dwell in a divided kingdom where the devil rules over evil. Until we consciously enter a kingdom where God reign supreme over all, we remain outside His kingdom. Again His word: But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the...

    Kingdom of God

If we get rid of all the religious misconceptions and begin with “ what a kingdom is,” then the kingdom of God explains itself. Literally a kingdom is a monarch’s domain, the area or territory he owns or control. In this case though it not a physical place. It’s “the revelation of the...

    The Message of Jesus Christ

I think it’s easy for us to run into trouble when we forget that God is omniscient or all-knowing. We interpret the word from our perspective as if the outcome is pre-decided, which would mean that there is no such thing as free will. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose...

    The Message of Jesus Christ

We have to be sure that we are not worshiping Him in vain. Jesus said: This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Matt. 15:8-9 If He didn’t...

    The Message of Jesus Christ

Many of us interpret the scripture by the letter, or at face value. Like Adam, we are like gods trusting our human understanding and ignoring God’s instructions that we need an interpreter. If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show unto man his...

    The Message of Jesus Christ

God is love and it’s the will of God that none should perish. Nevertheless the fact remains that many will. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is...

    The Message of Jesus Christ

Whether we realize it or not, we are defining the purpose of our lives everyday by what we do. It’s written: For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the...

Prayer and how we view it

Norah Jesus said: John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. In other words He’s saying here we must conform our minds to the truth and we have to become one with the spirit. The tools we use to accomplish this are prayer, meditation...

    The Message of Jesus Christ

During the days of vinyl records, when our favorite musician would release a new album, we would remove all distractions, dim the lights, sit, and listen to our new album intently as we followed the liner notes. Today in the digital age most of us listen to music while we are doing something...

Jesus taught the "Mysteries of God" to a few in secret.

The Book of Acts confirms what you are saying here totally. History bears it out as well. Knowing and following His teaching was a crime punishable even by death from Stephen (SEE Acts:7) until 313 AD. After 300 years of persecution and still not being able to destroy the teaching...

    The Message of Jesus Christ

Speaking through the prophet Isaiah 1:11-15, God told the children of Israel that He did not require their religious obligations. Their sacrifices, and observance of new moons and the sabbaths. Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the...

    The Message of Jesus Christ

In His conversation with the woman of Samaria, (John 4:7-29) Jesus is emphasizing the importance of knowing God and the correct way to worship Him. The woman of Samaria believed that the place of worship was important, a misconception that many hold to this day. The woman saith unto him...

    The Message of Jesus Christ

The book of Job is a parable because the scripture said it is. Moreover Job continued his parable, and said, As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul; All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils; My lips shall not...
