  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Alabama pastor holds ‘whites only’ conference

I found the thread on a search of "Christian Identity Ministry" Not hate, that's a distraction. God hasn't forbid hate, and says theres a time to hate. Some things justify hate but it's besides the point

Alabama pastor holds ‘whites only’ conference

OK lets put mainstream society and its distracting politically-correct drama out of the argument. (not that it is at all correct lol) I'm not sure what this thread really stands for besides a too and fro on insignificant points in justifying or not of racism, or I think exclusive-ism perhaps...

Prayer for My Youth Group Needed

Prayers sent. perhaps you must communicate gently just how much the youth of today are at risk of worldly temptation by the enemy, and remind them to visualize the life they want and God wants for them, and how important it is to make the right choices today. Youth ministry must offer an...

Why is online dating so dissapointing, so discouraging

I hear you brother but never give up, think of happy and secure you can make the right woman and how much joy it will be to have your family with her if that's your dream. I believe we need to first visualize this and then pray. Prayers for you :)

Why is online dating so dissapointing, so discouraging

Firstly it's not taking offense to be disappointing in the results of my good efforts, but I could understand if someone was offended. It's the nature of modern day social skills and society that offends me though. We live in a corrupted democracy but politics are besides the point, and if they...

Why is online dating so dissapointing, so discouraging

Don't get me wrong I think a wish list is great but from what I notice from my experiences in Christian online dating and regular online dating (before I was saved) is, there's too much focus is on finding someone to exactly suit their life the way it is single, rather than embracing trust in...

Would you still be a Christian without the incentive of Heaven?

"Maybe the Heaven idea was created for those having a real tough time of it here" That seems to suggest man created the idea of Heaven, is that your belief ? Can people rationalize Christian doctrines by thinking alone and doubting the word of God, without Biblical reference and, still be...

How much of our suffering is from lack of faith or certainty?

Lets face it this isn't going to happen so it's a question that illustrates wanting and anxiety, is a distraction from this life regardless if there is any "next life" to worry about. If we trust God's word and of Jesus "what we are meant to do" will be understood as we relate it to our personal...

    I'm a backslidden Christian

You came here obviously to do something about working out your direction, I suppose, so you are doing something. How much of our suffering is from lack of faith or certainty?

Yes God is the great mystery, but only so far as our misunderstanding wishes to have certainty The purpose of our suffering is certainly known by God Almighty and we must come to terms that it is necessary for His purposes whether we understand or not, that we may one day realise or not, we can...
