  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Why are there even denominations to begin with?

If we are talking about biblically solid denominations- Gospel preaching, Trinity affirming, Resurrection, Virgin Birth, five solos, etc then it is simply saved brothers and sisters in Christ with different convictions.

Anyone have good arguments against Calvinism.

God's sovereignty can't be overstated nor can our sinful nature so good luck with this one.

    Open Doors Highlights July/August 2026

. We start with a young supporter who raised £3,425.00 for Open Doors by doing a sponsored cycle. Always encouraging to see a young supporter of the persecuted church! Despite being under 10 years old she could certainly show many professing Christians a thing or two about caring for their...

    Bournemouth, Demons And God's Sovereignty

My wife and I went on a last minute excursion to Bournemouth, we had finished church on Sunday (great service and fellowship) and decided to have a date by ourselves at an IKEA cafe, when on the drive my wife randomly says "Why don't we go down to Bournemouth today?" . Ideal time too as I'm not...

The Jews never stopped being the chosen people

If you think Jews can be saved without Christ's blood, you will be the dissapointed one on judgement day.

    Thoughts on Statues and Icons?

Anglican from the Reformed tradition here. Honestly viewing God's glory and sovereignty I can't really see a point to venerating and bowing to statues and icons.

Voice Of Persecuted Christians (Formerly Release International) Highlights July-Sep 2026

    1. Pray for Leah Sharibu aged 23 abducted as a schoolgirl in 2018. She is the only abductee they haven't released, she refuses to renounce her Christian faith. The radicals behind her abduction have claimed they will keep her as a 'slave for life'. It is understood by intelligence forces she...

    A refreshing brother

Do you ever meet that person that refreshes your soul? It was a pleasure seeing him yesterday- the pastor from Myanmar who I have met and told sime of you about before, standing in for my main pastor for yesterday's service. This experience shows God's providence- years ago I met him in town...

Is Salvation a choice? If it is, whose choice is it ?

God's. If it were ours we would have never chosen Him.

Cracks, supermarkets and God's mysterious sovereign purposes.

A few Sundays ago a Zambian (my wife's Country) guest pastor visited the church I attend, he loves sharing experiences during his sermons so I thought I'd share two! Story #1 Cracks He told us of a church he knew where it was slowly deteriorating, cracks were forming on the walls, etc and the...
