  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Why does Matthew 22:30 cause me SO MUCH PAIN?

Heaven will be so infinitely glorious, worshipping an infinitely, thrice holy God, that marriage will not be necessary.

    ! LOVE JESUS AND JEWS!

3 You should watch yours as well as there are many brothers and sisters in Christ who are covenant theologians- the church is Israel! A Jewish individual that rejects Christ is not saved!

    Militants, Christmas and Christ

The Story Another moving story from Open Doors that highlights Christ I'd like to share with you. We learn of a man from Nigeria, Joshua, he went through the horror of being blinded by militants. But that wasn't all- his wife also left him after his injuries. Family members- they kept their...

Antinomianism, definition and a Question "is this you"?

Sadly too common today and if you obey Chrust you're a "pharisee".

I hold a view similar to the Open View of God.

There is no hope if God is not omniscent. The Bible uses anthropomorphic language to help us understand events regarding an infinitely glorious God. You are also going by pure English, In Hebrew, the word used is נָחַם (nāḥam), which can mean: to grieve to be pained to relent to feel sorrow

    The Church, Nicaragua and Christmas

This is truly a Christmas special and it would do our souls good to think of our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world at this time and remember that God works across the world in different cultures and contexts. 13-year-old Alaia and nine-year-old Manuela have fond memories of...

There are Some People Disturbing You

Great points! We don't need to grow spiritually by going on a 'pilgrimage' to Israel, we are fully equipped to spiritually grow through reading God's word, prayer and joining a local Gospel church. The body of Christ is Israel, not the nation that calls itself Israel.

Kirk Cameron Takes Heat for His Annihilationist View on Hell

He does not appear to comprehend the seriousness of sin.

    I have a question and I’m confused

    Yes, thank goodness for Baptists

    I have a question and I’m confused

Thankyou, yes I am Anglican but this is the part where I say I'm from the Reformed camp and because of my denomination's poor state I attend a 'particular Baptist church'

    I have a question and I’m confused

One where God's word is taken seriously and where the Gospel is preached.

Is Hell Annihilationism or Eternal Torment

Hell is indeed eternal and this makes sense. Sinning against an infinitely thrice Holy God does indeed have infinite, eternal consequences.

Most self-identified Christians think doing 'good things' is enough to get to Heaven

Then they do not understand the Gospel, the price paid or the seriousness of our sin.
