  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    * Prayer for the Unsaved *

I would like to ask as many people as possible to pray for the salvation of Dave. He has been bound by satan, and so i would ask you all to command satan to release his hold/binding over Dave and also pray to the Lord that he lift the veil and open Dave's eyes/ears/heart/mind to the Truth...

    how did you

I can remember well that feeling of wanting to run out of Church, almost as soon as I walked in! I wanted to go there but felt so out of place, now when I look back I think it was perhaps the work of Satan, trying to pull me over to his side before I really knew the Truth and made a commitment...

    Just converted from Islam.

What a blessing! Welcome to the family! Hope you have a beautiful baptism day. Remember that God also uses doctors heal people, that's why He made them! May God increase your faith, pray for wisdom and understanding and stick close to other believers.

    Your Bible

I have noted how Muslims revere their Koran and treat it with utmost care/dignity and I believe Christians should also treat their Bibles in the same manner. So I searched high and low for a really good leather bound bible and could only find a genuine top-grain leather NIV Quest study Bible. I...

    Why don't all Christians fast?

It seems to me that Jesus expects us to fast as He said a couple of times " and when you fast....", so why isn't it's importance stressed more in Church these days? Also how does fasting bring us closer to God? Is that it's purpose? Thanks.

    The reality of God

We look at the moon and see a nice big white circle up there but when you look at it and really start to see an orb floating in the sky you get a whole new sense of appreciation for it. I just think our entire perspective on the Holiness and Hugeness of God would be amplified if we actually...

    Fasting

Yes, we should fast today. Jesus expected us to do it for he said, ..." when you fast"...and when you fast"..., however it is not something that we brag about, so that is probably why you don't hear much about it. I still think it should be preached upon in church though.

    The reality of God

Just wondering what folks think about this - I heard it mentioned that if God made himself visible during a church service, everyone would fall down on their faces in reverent worship and fear. Therefore, is God present during a church service or not ( invisibly of course) because...

    The Will of God

What is the Will of God? Who can define it for me? Specifically. How do we discern what it is that God wants us to do? It is said that if we pray in accordance with God's Will, then it shall be granted us.

    "Confessions" by St. Augustine

Well, let me tell you....it is not an easy book to read!!! As it was written around 400AD it's english translation still contains a lot of thee's and thou's, however, that is not the hard part. Actually comprehending what you are reading is the hard part! Don't give up too easily though, as...

    denial - a sin?

Is this question too difficult for ANYONE to respond to??

    denial - a sin?

Peter denied Christ three times and was apparently forgiven. My question - if the situation arose where one was asked to deny Christ in order to save a life ( another's or ones own) what are we expected to do? Peter denied Jesus before the crucifixion.... But after, he went on to boldy...

    the oldest one

Seeing as the Aborigines of Australia have apparently been here for 40,000 years then I guess their belief in the Dreamtime (which is still current today) would make it the oldest "religion" in the world.
