    The Yin-Yang

thats one. Of course if you want an actual text that is easy to find i recomend the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu. It is mostly what i have read and studied. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M Prisig is another extemely good book, since it does not directly address Zen and the way...

    The Yin-Yang

If you try and describe The Way(Tao), that just isn't it. You can't put such a simplistic explantion to things you do not understand. It takes many many years of meditation and study to figure out what The Way really is. It may look similar to your concept of god but that does not mean...

    you CANNOT sin!

I think that is an interesting interepretation smaller. this is all  biblical evidence for a diffrent god then the one as claimed by the evagelical christians.  so much to the point that an another christian claims your interepretation is "unbiblical." and in ligt of these highlighted...

I have heard many a christain say that science is not totally free of faith... I think that it might exist to an extent, perhaps not to the level of religious faith, but at any rate i would like for those christians who think so, to please articulate your argument. I am not sure i fully...

    God powers my flashlight.

I would need to see an actual electron, not just this so-called "evidence". well that is rather interesting, I have gotten to the point as an agnostic I would make do without completely "seeing". I do not need to see him, but you must find any one effect that does not have anyother...

    christianity and "religion"

can we please stay on the topic of this forum. Work with your own defintion and explain. I don't want this thread to be hijacked into a "what is religion" thread. i have indeed heard some people claim that christianity was not a religion but instead a lifestyle. I guess that is not true. i...

    christianity and "religion"

I don't know you practice one I don't. you might have a better idea then i do. ;) i think of it as anything that is a foundational belief about atelogical queastions that is unchangeable because of its dogma and scriptures. usally a deity is involved but not always. so along those lines...

Where do other people get moral systems?

morals can come from all diffrent places... the most common (and some mistakenly say only) is religion. Most Agnostics/Atheists use reasoning. and sometimes this set of morals can be more effective then Religious oriented systems. Atheists don't have the "God wills it", "god told me" cop out...
