CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was born in Sydney Australia and grew up in the suburbs of Sydney. When i was young i got into a lot of trouble with the law and drugs. I was saved by the salvation army from the streets of Sydney.
I have traveled and lived in England for some years and i have had several business's including a fish and chip shop in the north of England. I moved to Brisbane Qld Australia where I live with my beautiful children Julian and Carla.
I am now retraining and studying community services and psychology and hope to get a position in community development. I have managed to get some volunteer work at the local community center. I enjoy putting what I have learnt into action and making a difference in peoples lives.
I picked up the guitar at 40 and haven't put it down since. I enjoy writing songs and recording in my studio.
