  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Yugioh something I saw that disturbed me. Please read.

I don't like yugioh either and don't let my child watch it. There are a lot of cartoons these days that are more violent and have more witchcraft and sorcery in them. I have cable and will let my child watch the Disney channel and the Nick Jr shows. I do watch what my son watches because I am...

I say it to my son the most but I tell everyone I love that I love them. And I most certainly mean it.

    Ideas to defeat childhood boredom.

I have a 2 year old so I bought the Toddler Busy Book at Barnes & Noble for only $10. It has lots of great ideas!! I live in a townhome with only a concrete patio and a parking lot outside of that so my little guy only gets to ride his bike and although he loves to do that, I have to keep an...

Can a marriage survive without a TV?

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish there were no TV or computer in my house. Ok, the computer can stay because 1. technology is good and 2. I know hubby isn't having any kind of e-affair and neither am I. But it stays in the office. I could totally do without the TV and only use the computer for email...

Is this what most marriages look like?

All very good points. I agree with just showing her you care and love her without expecting sex. There is nothing worse than the feeling that your husband doesn't want you for more than anything but sex. If she feels like that then you won't get any for a while. Love her, cherish her and...

    Illegal Drugs

I don't see a difference. People abuse all drugs even the ones that are legal. And if they want to use the illegal ones, they aren't that hard to find. I say this not to make anyone mad just the simple truth.

    Texas law

Jamie, I recieved an email from a friend who's job sent it out in a memo saying that it doesn't go into effect until September first. I guess they could be wrong. You would know before me but I hope it's true.

    Texas law

That is why they have a hands free headset and also they have a universal attachement for cellular phones that makes it a speaker phone that goes in your car. I'm looking into getting that. I have the hands free headset but it's a pain....in the ear. I was just really happy that they are...

That would be my favorite thing too. I can recall one of the best times I had with my hubby and that was while he was at work babysitting a system he had put in at a hospital. I went to have lunch with him and was there several hours. We talked and I watched him fix a couple of problems but...

    anniversary coming up

We did that last year on our 2nd anniversary. I loved it!! We went to the butterfly exhibit and also the Titanic exhibit. Then we went out to an observatory to see the stars. I guess I just wanted something different. I would love to have a picnic but the mosquitos are real bad. I asked...

    what do you think?

It's another one of those things you do for shock value. First it was peircing your tongue and now that everyone is doing it, they had to come up with something else. They split the tongue right down the middle with a scalpel (SP?) and you have to relearn how to talk and could have a permanent...

    what do you think?

Open to all!!!! I know there are a lot of you who like tattoos and peircings but what do you think of people splitting their tongues for that forked look? To me it looks too much like a snake (the desired look, I assume) and a snake reminds me of satan.

    Need gift ideas

Something significant. My hubby bought me a star (a real star) for our first Christmas from the International Star Registry because the first night we met, we were camping and sat up all night talking laying on the pier looking up at the stars. I guess that's kind of like recreating the first...
