Has Anyone Here Taken the General GRE?

I hear from people who've taken the test that PowerPrep was closest to the real thing, and they have a math review there. It's made by those who make the test, so I'm using that mostly.

Has Anyone Here Taken the General GRE?

I want to take it soon, and I've studied off and on for a while. I'm concerned about the math, because people who've taken it tell me that the PowerPrep was the most similar to the actual test (as compared to study guides). So, the ETS/PowerPrep has a good-looking math review on it (it's a PDF...

Aria (or classical song)... help me choose a new one?

I think Handel wrote it.. It's from Samson, if I'm not mistaken. I'm pretty sure it's in one of these books around here. Those doggone runs with the sixteenth notes are what scare me. I might sing it just to see how it works out...IF I can find the book. I looked at "Oh, Lord, Whose Mercies...

Aria (or classical song)... help me choose a new one?

So... I'll put a handful of songs I've sung at the bottom... just so you know what kind of stuff I've done in the past. I'm taking voice again next semester, and I know this teacher lets you (or makes you) choose your own pieces. If he hasn't changed since last time, it'll be two pieces from...

    Question for married guys..

I haven't been around in a while. I've been off going through more surgeries and trying to stay in school full time. I might actually use some stuff in a dissertation or some kind of project with permission, but it'd be general. I'm just now trying to get some real, human-based research done...

    gabapentin

Neurontin (gabapentin) made me dizzy and EXTREMELY forgetful of things I'd known all my life. Did the same thing for others I knew. I took it for vulvodynia/vestibulodynia though, and you may have a totally different outcome. It didn't work for the pain. Lyrica might do you better...

    Question for married guys..

Well, I asked because I know people that it's happened to. I'd be happy to use any information in a dissertation or thesis some day, but I can't-- I think stuff here would fall into the realms of psychology and sociology. I don't think there's a place for it in biology by itself.

    Question for married guys..

I think I've replied to all the replies... but now I'm wondering a different question. I think in my original post I asked if you'd still consider marrying a woman if you knew she couldn't have sex... I'm wondering what if the woman didn't find out that something was wrong until after she was...

    Question for married guys..

I'm wondering if I did something like that (putting possible side effects aside), how well it'd last. A doctor has to give the injections (and I'm not a doctor yet :)), but then if the injection wears off quickly, I'm wondering how long I'd have before it wore off. I try not to bore people...

    Question for married guys..

The -ocaines don't work well enough for me-- the problem is way deeper than the surface (but on the surface too)... and takes up a decent area. It'll work on the surface a little, but that's usually it. I think if it were a milder case they might due, because I've heard of it working like that...

    Question for married guys..

I don't drink :) It's not not wanting to have sex; it's just the fact that I may not ever be able to do so physically. I don't talk with many women who are married and have this, but the few that I do talk to don't have it bad enough to where they can't have sex at all. I've seen two I think...

    Question for married guys..

Thanks for the link, but I've already read it. I have made an (online) support group for it that I list medical resources on; I'm writing a book about it; I'm a biology student studying vulvodynia on the side; I'm a premedical student. I've studied it in-depth scientifically. Trust me, I've...

    Question for married guys..

Define "drugged up," lol. I have found no drugs that work (for me, but every woman with this is different-- I've found that drugs don't work for many of us). If you mean something like a high dosage of something powerful injected straight into the site (taking anything by mouth has no effect), I...

    Question for married guys..

I think by "works," I was looking for a quick way to say that it can happen and not end up in shambles because of it (albeit, I don't know the future). I'm certain that it's very difficult.. I guess my point was that it can be done, even with difficulties and struggles. If that makes any sense...

    Question for married guys..

Good to hear that it can work for some couples. :)
