  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

If the brain is necessary to have a vision

What a load of rubbish I used the term metaphysical not mythical, it is you which is misrepresenting me. If IIT has such broad support then why does a Nature link in my previous post dismiss IIT as pseudoscience? https://www.nature.com/articles/s41593-025-01881-x?utm_source=chatgpt.com Global...

If the brain is necessary to have a vision

You just can't resist lying can you? This time using AI as a search engine.... Note Nature publishes articles on consciousness from a scientific lens not from your bogus metaphysical aspect.

If the brain is necessary to have a vision

As a human interest story I use AI to tabulate my posts but I picked up an AI error in my previous post where it stated all quantum fields reduce to a classical limit which is not true. After being severely admonished it came back with this response.

If the brain is necessary to have a vision

In this post you have referenced Panpsychism (again), GNWT, Holographic Principle, Zero Point Energy, Non Local Consciousness, Information Theory and does not include the your references which @Hans Blaster has responded to. Given your have stated you do not accept panpsychism, what are the...

If the brain is necessary to have a vision

As if your posts are not confusing enough for the poor grammar and incoherency, we now have to doubt anything you post as being supportive of your arguments. What a farcical situation.

If the brain is necessary to have a vision

I seem to spend a lot of my time commenting on your dishonesty and lack of comprehension, this part of your post encapsulates both. The dishonesty part is for you post links like this which is clearly beyond your level of comprehension, but ironically if the comprehension was there you would...

If the brain is necessary to have a vision

Not only inane but also contradictory. He seems to forgotten he supports panpsychism as a form of science in which case "only a mind could invent a mind" should read "only an object could invent a mind". When confronted with challenging problems I used to pace aimlessly in the company carpark...

If the brain is necessary to have a vision

@stevevw why don't you address @Ophiolite's concerns? As I pointed out quantum decoherence essentially reduces the role of consciousness in QM to a philosophical argument but since you don't want to provide numbers I will. Decoherence is a staple in major physics journals (e.g., Physical...

If the brain is necessary to have a vision

Another one of your fairy tales or putting it less diplomatically an outright lie for implying the interpretation of the role of consciousness in QM is on the rise. Since a lot of ‘research’ in consciousness is based on QM lets stick to the QM theme from my post #91 involving electron spin...

If the brain is necessary to have a vision

I'm responding for two reasons. (1) To see if I can now download stuff on this site (it now works). (2) For you to tell me if the wavefunction psi described by the following mathematics for the superimposed spin state of an electron is a property of consciousness or not. If you want to make...

There’s a Giant Flaw in Human History

Transcendent can form the sentence "can send tents". From this it is blindingly obvious that nature gave hunter gatherers the ability to manufacture tents as temporary accommodation before they became permanent settlers forming civilizations. If anyone challenges this I will accuse them of...

There’s a Giant Flaw in Human History

We have gone through this routine in posts 1467, 1468 etc. Your links fail to address the contradictory evidence found in peer reviewed papers such as copper corrosion and quartz found by SEMs in striations claimed to be machined surfaces. Why worn and shattered dolerite pounders are found in...

There’s a Giant Flaw in Human History

This (as usual) is confusing. Protzen is an orthodox experimental archaeologist. https://share.google/aimode/D5s03U0IJTVkgLcvj This totally ridiculous, the standards that have been used are peer reviewed which debunk your nonsense which you pathologically lie as being non existent. Being peer...

Hubble Constant (Ho) fixed to light speed, C and calculated as 71 k/s/Mpc. God did it!!

This is a very impressive piece of word salad to the unfamiliar but dimensional analysis shows you are comprehensively wrong as also shown with other posts. Distance has dimension L, Time T, Velocity L/T = LT⁻¹. Using these dimensions Hubble's constant Hₒ = LT⁻¹L⁻¹ = T⁻¹ = 1/T. By comparison...
