    Pope Accepts Resignation of Irish Bishop

    I don't thik so. As far as I know,the ordination to priesthood cannot be made undone, as the ordination to bishop or cardinal. Our last bishop had the title of Archbishop, but was "only" a bishop, because this is not an Archdiozese here. But he couldn't loose his title.
