Evolutionists: what are your official/accredited qualifications concerning Evolution?

I have a college degree in humanities, a B.A. in philosophy and a minor in cognitive science. *I tried to give US equivalents for what I have. Might not be accurate.

Politics and evo/ID in other countries

Anybody in or near Toronto that could tell me if Denyse O'Leary has a big impact there? Also, she just co-wrote a book with a teacher from my University I suspected of beeing a "Wedge Document executant" as well (he did research using grants from the Templeton foundation). Miss O'Leary is very...

Politics and evo/ID in other countries

I am wondering: what is the current state of creationism in other countries? There's been alot said about the USA, but what about other countries? I know that in the province of Quebec there is at least 2 creationist organizations: ASCQ (independent) and CIM (local chapter of AiG). Both are...

    Vestigial tails, again

Thanks for the info. This article was very informative: http://diabetes.diabetesjournals.org/cgi/content/full/51/9/2811 If I understood it right, it says that the Wnt-3a gene controls the expression (or inhibition) of a tail. Mothers with diabetes seem to give birth more frequently to child...

Grand Canyon raft trip with c/e twist

The whole point is that this is not a debate nor a soap box: it's a rafting trip! Creationists have had plenty of time to express their views. The problem is that they don't actually have anything to say on science. It's easier and more productive for them to lobby school boards and threaten...

    Vestigial tails, again

Hi, I know vestigial organs have been discussed many times, but I have a few questions about tails. First, the "evidence for macro-evolution" paper mentions a case of vestigial tail that has bones, not only muscles and nerves. But I think there is no source for that. I'd love to get my hand on...

Evolution and midichlorians, does the Creation set them apart?

Midichlorians are probably inspired from mitochondria, which may have evolved independantly.
