    Karl Rove is Agnostic-

I believe the source is this book by James Moore and Wayne Slater, who've written a couple other books about Rove. As to the subject, does it really even matter? I mean, it's not a requirement that the people behind the scenes running the campaigns have any obligation to adhere to what their...

Gop Uses Hated Hill To Vilify Dem Foes

I've seen this commercial myself - too many times - and it's a joke. Nelson is probably the most conservative Democrat in the Senate, and gets all kinds of warm and fuzzy kudos from Bush whenever he visits. I don't think there's been a single ad that's been able to point out any actual...

    Jesus was not a liberal

Which in fact would make him a liberal . . . unless you're using the 21st century American definition. Did you mean "Jesus was not a socialist"?

Should Christian morality be the law of the land?

No. 1.) Morality should not be legislated period. 2.) Atheist libertarian.

    Liberalism in the US

It's interesting to note that classical liberalism originally was "leftism" - that is, it was the left wing, coming from the physical arrangment of members of the National Assemby after the French Revolution. It has necessarilly had to move over becausea.) Something to the left of the original...

The Left Comes Out In Support Of Fred Phelps

Is it really so unbelievable that a person or organization can support someone's rights without having to support their message? They've defended the rights of the KKK and neo-Nazi groups as well. Wikipedia link

The only man worthy of being President...

 Yeah, Marxists really love that market economy capitalism.

Is there really such thing as an "Atheist"...

What does any of this have to do with the rejection of god(s)? All you seem to be describing here is a general sense of nonchalance, selfishness, and possibly nihilism, none of which is a component of atheism. Yes, unless you're using your definition from above.

Is there really such thing as an "Atheist"...

I don't count on the universe; I recognize that there is nothing beyond the natural laws that govern it, and upon dying, I will not recognize anything, because I will be dead.

What the bleep do we know?

The three creators of the film are indeed members of Ramtha's School of Enlightenment.

What does the American flag mean to you?

It is a visual representation of the United States of America. Anything beyond that (positive or negative) is symbolism that exists only in the minds of the people seeing it. It may make them love or despise the nation. Both are opinions, and I don't disparage of either. I just don't see them.

    Fredrick Nietzsche

I've never met anyone in my generation who even knew who Nietzsche was, or had any opinion on any philosopher or philosophy that transcended "This is boring," or "This is gay."

    A Fair Comprimise

Compromise. That's funny. You know, this country has a pretty bad track record of compromises. Three-Fifths? 1820? 1850? They're all connected, you know. Ah, popular vote. Yes, the Kansas-Nebraska Act. That worked out very well, didn't it? Creating artificial pro- and anti- boundaries between...

    Propaganda Machine

From Zoot's position as a New Zealander, he is absolutely correct. It may seem ridiculous to you, but the entire American political system is shifted to the right of the rest of the world, and that includes the media.
