    Women ordained in the Baptist Church

    I also do not believe that women are permitted to be ordained as Pastors or in a position where they would have "authority over a man." There is a Baptist church where I live where a woman is a pastor - they are not a member of the SBC, which my church is.

    I believe strongly in open Communion - as long as all those partaking in The Lord's Supper are Christians, I don't see why there would be a big stink.
