    I agree with you. The verse doesn't pertain to resources but more toward one's attitude. It's God telling us not to worry about things so much that it takes your focus off of Him. He knows what to give you to keep you moving. But that's not necessarily resources that's given.

    It's not a requirement of being a Christian to enjoy Christian music. I, myself, don't particularly care for it outside of traditional hymns. I tend to find a lot of it to be rather heavy on the schmaltz.
