  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Considering moving away from the Baptist title..

~ So where is it found in Scripture that pastors are elected by congregants and that congregation membership is voted on? ~ Sure there is unbilbical legalism in all sorts of congregations and demonimations, but except for the voting issue, (and sometimes the dunking -v- sprinkling issue), for...

    I'm glad Barak Obama won

~ Neither man is Christian. Neither is a conservative let alone libertarian. Both are big goverment, nanny-state elitists. One is wrong on just about every major and minor issue from a Biblical standpoint. One is wrong on most issues from a Biblical standpoint. ~ The economy is going to...

    The Sin Poll !

~ The either/or sort of option of this poll is a bit problematic. I would say that I agree with ALL of them and can find Scripture to back them ALL up. ~ It might make it a little easier (but food for another debate/discussion/argument thread) if one discerned what part of the individual was...

    Tongues question

~ Any Christian can and should speak in tongues, that does not mean that every Christian will. ~ There are at least four different types/operations of tongues in the Bible. ~ The gift is mentioned or referred to in both the Old and New Testament. ~ We are still under the New Covenant...

    IS Money so bad ????

~ I tend to think that my money and possessions belong to GOD and HE gives them to me as a steward over them for the time I am on earth. ~ However, since we cannot take the earthly things with us when we go, we might as well use them (properly) here on earth while we are around to do good things...

    IS Money so bad ????

~ Money is a great tool to use. Just as food, oxygen, sex, etc... However, one should not love the tools one uses. One needs to learn to use them properly. ~ There seems to be this weird thing about money coming from the a lot of religious folk. They seem to think it is ok for an MD or...

    O MY! Another WOF Thread!

~ Cessationist deny the God and Christ of the Bible and teach a heresy that is as dangerous as Mormonism or SDA. It must be rejected totally for the satanic teaching it is. A Lack of foundational Scripture

~ I would like to recommend that a lot of you drink a little bit (glass or two a day) of wine. (Not grape juice.) ~ Notice that Paul wanted Timothy saved and was not concerned about how it happened. The cessationist heresy basically says that God does not want people healed, so you need to go...

Of Course I Believe in Prosperity, so do you

~ Why is it soo hard for 'Christians' to actually believe that Bible. Especially Christians who hold to plenary and verbal inspiration of Scriptures? ~ How come the anti-faith/anti-Word cult/crowd seems to look the perceived faults of man for validation of their viewpoints instead of looking...

Is asking God to heal someone pointless ?

~ Build up your faith and knowledge of healing first! Read and meditate on the scriptures related to healing in the old testament and new testament. Read how Jesus healed all who came to him. Think on these things. Read them outloud. "Faith comes by hearing." ~ If your theology or religious...

Of Course I Believe in Prosperity, so do you

~ I would say that greed, selfishness, and covetousness are hallmarks of the anti-faith/anti-Word cult and its supporters and apologists. ~ WHY is anyone concerned about what another Christian has? Why not instead be concerned with the Word of God? ~ Here is some reading that should scare...
