  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

MDD and GAD have ruined my life

Sorry to hear about your struggles. You have many people who are praying for you. As a medical student I'm sure you are aware of the importance of intracellular co2 and the decrease of which that is associated with anxiety. Have you had your thyroid checked? Since adequate thyroid is...

    Where Am I?

Possibly irrelevant. Today's current (and bad) recommendations are based on studies over 50 years like the lipid hypothesis, sodium-potassium "pump", sugar is harmful. Also, the Italian research in thyroidectomized rabbits as the cause and cure to heart disease was done over 100 years ago and...

    Where Am I?

Starches are best consumed with fat as it is then carried further through the digestive tract intact. Starch granules tend to permeate the intestinal lining contributing to long term emboli and subsequent capillary blockage. This is especially true for undercooked starches.

    Feeling fatigued

First, I would make sure you are eating enough food throughout the day. Then look at possible nutrient deficiencies with the first one being adequate protein, about 80-100 gms; a good starting point for carbs is a 2:1 carb/protein ratio. Another deficiency often overlooked that can lead to...

    Where Am I?

Curtis, Once you're ready, add exercise that will increase muscle mass. For a bit more on diet, make sure your plant based diet contains a good amount of very well cooked white potatoes and eat all starches with fat (refined coconut oil); use sprouted whole grains only and legumes to reduce...

    Where Am I?

Mood and behavior disorders involve excess seritonin and could also be the reason for your weight issue. Check thyroid levels and get TSH down close to zero with a good T3 supp. Diet should be based on optimizing nutrition rather than choosing plant based as those food choices are anti thyroid...

    I really need help

No PCOS is not an excuse...it's a REASON. You say your main goal is to lose weight but I highly encourage you not to worry about that at this point as your adventure may be futile until you deal appropriately with it. It should be encouraging to hear PCOS and diabetes and weight gain go hand...

    belly fat

With all due respect, your reasoning is justified under the assumption that people have adequate, usable sugar, salt and other electrolytes ( and are quickly restored ) and have a high ratio of stored saturated/ unsaturated fat, adequate thyroid, optimal ability to oxidize sugar and simply enjoy...

    belly fat

This is old news. In the early to mid 1900's, scientists like Broda Barnes and Hans Selye made stress their career; later ,Ray Peat and Sapolskly continue this same understanding. "Thus, exercise training in rats seems to elicit the fall in TPO activity and T4 plasma concentration at rest but...

Yes, it's the SAID principle that is key to everything your body does or what you want from your body. This is exactly why exercise must be approached methodically and consciously, because your body adapts exactly to what's imposed on it every time - the key to how the Zhealth community...

    Type 2 Diabetes Any Cure

Actually, protein sends a signal to produce insulin. Insulin does not cause diabetes or should be considered a substance that declines health. In the above quote, the inference that sugar restriction stops all insulin production and is advocated is in itself dangerous and simply isn't true...
