  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Deliberate sinners don’t know God.

Alright. I'll stop my debate here. The Lord doesn't like the church being divided. But since we both think we are right and we aren't able to convince the other about what is really right, I guess the stopping of the debate is what God wants. We'll know the Truth when we get up there. Until...

    Deliberate sinners don’t know God.

I have to disagree here. So what you are saying is that once we are born again, then even if we kill someone we don't need to repent or feel guilty or anything because since we are born again, the Holy Spirit of God always protected us, so it would not be a sin anyway. There's the neglection...

What does 1 Cor. chapter 13 to 14 mean to you?

I think it means that if the real love of Christ is in us, we don't get proud about anything, and we don't become jealous of anything. So even if they do the worst things to us we would still love them if the love of Christ is in us. It's difficult but the Lord loved us first, and so we...

    Deliberate sinners don’t know God.

We must love God above all. And Jesus said that if we love Him, we would keep His commandaments. So keeping away from sinning is a must for someone who confesses to love Jesus. God bless.

    Deliberate sinners don’t know God.

We were sinners. But then we believe in the Lord Christ for forgiving our past sins. Then can we suddenly become sinless? No. But the Holy Spirit is with us. As we ask for the Holy Spirit to make us holy like He is, like Jesus is, and like the Father is, and as we really want to be holy like...

Let us rejoice when the ppl of the world fear for their safety and stability.

I never said to rejoice because our enemy falls, but I said to rejoice because He, our Lord is coming. I encouraged believers to not be fearful as people of the world, didn't say to rejoice because people are being scared out because of what happens. Guess that verse is out of context here...

Let us rejoice when the ppl of the world fear for their safety and stability.

Shalom and greetings brothers and sisters. It came to my mind to write a post about the chaotic events that are taking place in the world in front of our eyes. Volcanoes erupting, economic giants falling one after the other, earthquakes, tornados, tsunamis hitting one place after another and...

Who has it right? Catholics? Protestants?

I agree that it's not the church or the denomination that it is important. It's our relationship with God that is important. But surely all the catholics who are praying to Mary or any other saints, they are doing something that God never wanted us to do. That's for sure. Jesus said to ask the...

The Benefits of Praying in Tongues and Deeper Fellowship with God

Shalom brothers and sisters in Christ. Many of us have received the gift of tongues, but we find it hard to pray for hours every day, because our worldy daily lives keeps us busy and makes us tired. But I hope this post would encourage us all to pray more in tongues because this is such a...

Are we really ready for the rapture?

Again, as my reply above is the letter of Peter old testament, when Paul said with fear and trembling what did He mean? Is Luke old testament? God is same yesterday, today, tomorrow. What you would like to imply is that we need not to fear God in any way. You are taking one verse out of John and...

Are we really ready for the rapture?

Greetings in Christ again. Sister that's right, my fear for God is because of His greatness in every way. I would like to imply that the bible never contradicts itself. Deuteronomy 6:5 (also Mt 22:37, Mark 12:30, Luke 10:27) Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul...
