    Zechariah

I think everyone does that to a certain extent. Opinions are based on other peoples opinions. Accumulation of knowledge is based on trust.

    The 7000-Year Theory

the dodo evolved, but it wasn't Darwinian evolution; it probably started out as a petrel or pigeon, and ended up as 'fat-bottom'; do'darsen.. in the dutch.. died out because of pigs. there are sub-species; the lesser black backed gull is a sub-species of herring gull; depends on the distribution.

    What are you watching?

Just finished Spartacus; War of the Damned.. watched the whole thing in 2 sittings.. very compelling. Started with 'The Borgia's'.. taking a bit to get into it though.

    What denomination are you?

I'm thinking of leaving the Church of England, and becoming a Jedi Knight; as there was a campaign to get Jedi made as an official religion, if enough people said on those forms that they were Jedi.. and it worked; Jedi is now an official minority religion in the UK.. how long does it take to...

    Zechariah

I don't disagree with that.. the prophets were inspired by the Holy Spirit, .. willed by the Holy Spirit.

    No Secret Rapture? -Nope!

You should be a lawyer Biblewriter! To take Rev 3:10 as a rapture really is a stretch. I think that Rev.3:10 is about the rapture, and I don't even believe in Rev.

    The 7000-Year Theory

not sure I agree that the tares are genetically so, and can't be saved; might be though. I don't usually do debate on creation/evo, as it is a pointless exercise. it's a bit like children saying.. yes it is! no it is not! is! no it's not! yes it is! not! is! not!

    The 7000-Year Theory

Where does the Word of God ever put a firmament above the water of creation? -Nowhere! It is the water that was divided -literally cut in two- and the firmament was stretched out from the water below in between the below water and the above water. Sumerian cosmology.

    The 7000-Year Theory

mutations do not create. natural selection is due to the reshuffling of genes.. like the creationists say.. the genetic material is already available. Humans were created in the likeness of God, like the bible says.. the australopithecines were a species of extinct arboreal apes, similar to a...

    No Secret Rapture? -Nope!

to gather all evil into one place to be destroyed forever annihilate? destroy in fire? the demons fear the abyss. lording it in hell is a fantasy of some modern writers. I remain for now with the opinion that the devil is loosed from the abyss, in an attempt to conclude the prophesies in the...

Millennial Reign: Will all reign with Christ?

I would say that millennialism is restricted to the new-fangled churches.. it's not part of historic Christianity.. Catholic or Protestant.. or anything else. Rev was about "things that must take place soon" which is why good scholarship says it must at least attempt to see it as being about...
