    Early Church Writtings

And I am one of them... If you don't know the Difference between the "Works of the Law" and the "Works of Faith" you need to go back and do some homework. The "Grace Alone" Doctrine is a dangerously flawed one, that produces wicked, slothful, unprofitable servants. Many Christians are going...

Christ died for us...but Christ is immortal...?

I have studied and prayed about this for some time, and though I haven't got all the details yet (because I have always been poor in Mathematics), the Holy Spirit keeps telling me to look toward Mathematics for the Answer, "For the Corruptable to be made Incorruptable, The Incorruptable must be...

    Defending Dungeons and Dragons...

It's actually a good example of how Pre-Destination(DM) and Free Will(PC) interact.

    First bible different?

prior to the "Reformation" Bibles, the only "Composite Text" that I am aware of would be the Latin Vulgate. Prior to that the "Books" were individual documents in circulation. The Bible was translated from those early manuscripts anyways. For earlier "Proofs" one must go into the Ante-Nicene...

    fasting

I guess it would depend upon the purpose of the fast, and how long you intend on fasting. A Total Fast - No Food or Drink - for a few days, but no longer than 72 hrs Fasting with Drink - Usually Water, but maybe a squeeze of Lemon for the vitamins to preserve strength. A Fast to Deny Self -...

    Why hold an unorthodox belief?

Why do I think that I know better? Mainly through Years of Extensive Reseach, Prayer, Testing of the Spirit, etc.. The Majority of Christians follow their favorite "Teachers", and spend much time quoting those teachers. They let somebody else do all the "leg work" for them. These Teachers are...

    First bible different?

Well I have a rather extensive Library on hand, let's see for ourselves... 1395 Wycliffe Bible Matthew 1:21-25 "And she shal bere a sone, and thou shalt clepe his name Jhesus; for he schal make his puple saaf fro her synnes. For al this thing was don, that it schulde be fulfillid, that was...

Christ died for us...but Christ is immortal...?

Ok, I agree he Died, but he rose again. He showed a "Resurrected Body" to a whole lot of Believers. He asended into Heaven in Bodily Form. If just the Flesh died, not the Divinity, then What rose three days later? Did the Divine Christ come back to reinhabit the Dead Body? If so, was that...

Christ died for us...but Christ is immortal...?

So why did he keep the "meat puppet"? What need is there for a Spirit to hold onto a physical body? I have also been told that you can't separate Jesus's Humanity from his Divinity without violating Christology. I have my theories, but no serious discussion on this subject.

What type of relationship do you believe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to have?

I think that I will just teach it the way Jesus taught it, Father, Son and Spirit, and wait to ask him to clarify it when he returns. I don't think that Fully Understanding the Divine Nature of God is a requisite for Salvation, if it is there is going to be a whole lot of disappointed people.

Accusation of Condemning one to Hell

Everyone <saint and Sinner> seems to know John 3:16, because it has been so widely proclaimed, but they don't know the rest of the statement quite so well. John 3:17-18 "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that...

    The Heavenly Mother

Wow, it seems quite difficult to keep this thread on track, doesn't it. I leave for a few days and now it seems that we are discussing everything BUT the Heavenly Mother. And, No it is not just a Mormon/LDS topic. It would be refreshing if we might look at some Non-Mormon sources and...
