  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Holy Light in Jerualem

For those who read Greek I present this link Unfortunately the situation in Jerusalem is very bad at the moment. Personally I care not of +Irineos or +Theophilos but very much concerned about Orthodox ethos and testimony.

    Re-Baptism of Converts

I agree with my brothers. Most Orthodox jurisdictions wouldn't re-baptize a convert if he/she is already baptized under the Trinitarian formula. However, some Traditionalists would consider them un-baptized and ask them to be baptized all again.

    Mary as Queen of Heaven?

I'm really glad it doesnt. As I wrote, most RCs would keep their distance from Augustinian errors. Even though, the Western understanding of sin, it's results, punishment, justice, etc, come directly from that theology.

    Mary as Queen of Heaven?

I'll try my best sister although English isn't my native tongue. Created Grace is a RC doctrine (although not all RCs hold to it) which states that sin somehow keeps God out of this world, thus, He needed to create new means or chanels of grace in order to reach us. The view is based on ancient...
