  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Have you ever stopped drawing for fear of failure?

I believe this is true too, about the media portrayal. I finally decided that I wasn't gifted for art and let go. The funny thing is that I actually drew a picture today! After so long and it turned out to be something that I liked and enjoyed. At the beginning I prayed that the Lord would bless...

    Has anyone eaten a Fritata?

Hi Erin. :) It's good to see you again. I was away from the forums for a while. Have you guys heard of impossible quiche where you don't have to make th epastry separate, just chuck all the ingrediants in and it makes it itself? I make that all the time now. It doesn't have a crusty pastry...

    Has anyone eaten a Fritata?

Alas! I do not have a non stick pan. :( It's a stainless steel one I think, but is good because I can put the whole thing in the oven so for frittata thats fine, it won't stick because there's no direct heat. Instead of using oile when I fry up onions and meat/chicken, I pour a small amount...

    Nooma.com AKA Greg Bell

I've seen the rain one. I really liked it. We did it at our home Bible study but found it difficult to really expand upon for discussion because it was such a straight down the line message. I guess that's the only downfall I see. The images along with the message are very effective at making...

    Has anyone eaten a Fritata?

How did it go? I actually made a first time frittata last night and it turned out nice. I put chicken and veges in it and cooked it in the oven. It tasted a bit like a quiche without the pastry. The one I made was pretty low in calories and fat because I didn't use oil, milk or cheese and it...

Have you ever stopped drawing for fear of failure?

The Lord is my Banner, I am SO pleased to hear that you are drawing again. That is wonderful news! I began drawing too but it has come in dribs and drabs. I drew my daughter's face while she coloured in and we went on holiday to this amazing farmstay and I wanted to draw the view of the...

My husband and compliments - I just don't get it?

At certain times of the month a woman's weight can fluctuate up to 2kg and then go down again.

My husband and compliments - I just don't get it?

aw man, I'm sorry your feeling down about the party. We never went to Christmas parties and now Hubby's work doesn't have them, but I always feared being the biggest woman there and hated how it would be a comparing fest between all the workmates checking eachother's wives/gf's out. ugh.

Have sensed my 5 yr old has HFA, but hesitant or unknowing to go to the doctor or not

Thanks for replying. I wrote this a few months ago and recently have been thinking about him again. He just deals with life differently to most people and a lot of times, kids don't understand him but they like him anyway because he laughs, has fun and has a gentle, kind heart. I have watched...

My husband and compliments - I just don't get it?

I've been having green salads too. What do you put in them? I just got an idea from a lady, she added corn and avocado to it and it tasted nice. I don't usually like avocado, but I do in salad now.
