  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Was the holocaust due in part to the Jewish people rejecting Jesus?

The judgments of God are even now falling on the nations that have rejected Him, and they have barely yet begun to fall. The United States will not be exempted.

Was the holocaust due in part to the Jewish people rejecting Jesus?

He is not merely the God of Love--He is the God Who IS Love and in quoting me and replying as you did, you are preaching to the choir.

Was the holocaust due in part to the Jewish people rejecting Jesus?

You might want to prepare yourself for a few extremely rude awakenings. God gives life, and He can take it in any fashion He deems fit. I would never personally make the judgment that the Holocaust was indeed "attributable to a divine curse" but, generally speaking, God is at liberty to bring...

Was the holocaust due in part to the Jewish people rejecting Jesus?

Certainly, but Hitler didn't write entire letters (like this one) to friends about "other people," as early as 1919: Adolf Hitler's First Anti-Semitic Writing "The deduction from all this is the following: an antisemitism based on purely emotional grounds will find its ultimate expression in...

Was the holocaust due in part to the Jewish people rejecting Jesus?

Sorry, but I have to go there. Are you implying that the genocide of the Canaanites should not be taken literally?

Was the holocaust due in part to the Jewish people rejecting Jesus?

The problem is not with taking OT Scripture "too literally," but with mistaking the evil recorded therein as the ideal.

GOD'S WORD vs TRADITIONS OF MEN; Sabbath vs Sunday

These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come. (1 Corinthians 10:11) Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years."...

    Christian newby questions...

This statement, while doubtlessly coming from a heart intent upon doing good, illustrates a common misconception about a proper interpretation of Scripture. Some statements made by Christ and the prophets are meant to convey priorities, rather than stark contrasts, as they legitimately appear to...

    Christian newby questions...

It may not prove it, but it certainly does make for a potentially desirable relationship. Under certain circumstances, it might even imply it. Stand by for an uncharacteristic (of me) qualification of the law. I am not without an understanding of the historical and cultural considerations of...
