The "Father Joe" one does concern me most. Given the Discovery/NY Times series that ran this weekend.... Ugh! It was horrible! About as well researched as a kindergarten project! Thanks. Depending on other people's thoughts, I may put it way down on the list of "to reads."

Hey ya'll! Happy New Year! I got a couple books for Christmas and wanted to see if they were worth the read or not. You guys are always great at book reviews!!! Anyways, one is "The New Anti-Catholicism" and the other is "Father Joe." Any thoughts are appreciated!

Someone I am talking too doesn't think that Jesus established His Church...yet. This person thinks Jesus will establish it when He returns for the 1,000 year reign. I don't have time to put something together to refute it and am hoping that someone can guide me to a tract or something which...

Brian, have you read Scott Hahn's book on the Sacraments? I is called "Swear to God" and I think it might help with some of your questions. It's an easy read, but very complete.

Someone told me the RSV was derived from the KJV. Is that true?

Nobody? I think the author is Anthony DeStefano (though I dont know if I spellt it right).

On the Feast of the Assumption I caught some show on TBN which might have been called "Amazing Facts". The guy leading it was going into detail about Rev 11 and how it pointed to the Church and the Pope as the anti-Christ rather than to Mary. It made me kinda sick, so I didnt watch it all...

Anyone heard or read this book? Someone recommended it to me, but the title seems a little hokey. Any insight is appreciated.
