  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Long time, no see, Phil. I've only given the Panda Bear one listen. I think it will take some time to sink in. Andy: I'm really enjoying Drums and Guns. The album has great continuity, but I'm not sure what to think of the video for "Breaker".

I'm going to buy the new Andrew Bird album today, and I was thinking about picking that up, too (along with Panda Bear's new one). How is it?

    Is it moral...?

The job would be far less desirable which would lead to a decrease in competition and thus, quality of doctors. Humans, like all other organisms, are born with no rights except death. Universal healthcare is a disgusting idea. The only medical care the state should provide is birth control...

I love Sigur Ros and Johann Johannsson. I really enjoyed Without Gravity's "Tenderfoot" as well. :)

I don't think I'm going to like the new Modest Mouse album. "Dashboard" sounds like Brock is trying for a Panic at the Disco vibe: http://www.myspace.com/modestmouse Has anyone heard the new Of Montreal ("Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer")? "The Past is a Grotesque Animal" is absolutely...

This was released Valentine's Day 2005. However, I agree that it's a great album.

Have fun with that, Andy. I haven't been to a show in over a year (Sufjan last September), but I'll be seeing Joanna Newsom Friday night and Bonnie Prince Saturday night in Louisville. It's my good fortune that those are my two dream concerts. Let's hope they don't disappoint...
