  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Which church?

Thank you for your responses, I attended the church this morning on my own as my husband has made his choice of no longer wanting to attend. And as sad as it sounds I just had to walk out. The church was having a joint service with a few of the Methodist and Baptist churches and it was packed...

    Which church?

This is a question me and my husband have been asking ourselves lately. We have been part of a church for 3 years and we were thrown in at the deep end with duties and pcc meetings and found that it sucked the spirit out of us. It's a fairly traditional c of e church with the majority...

    Sinful Tattoo

I have tattoos and a lip piercing. And I asked my vicar at the time about them, should I have them, and he said would you cover them or feel ashamed of them if jesus was sat opposite you now. I replied no, then he said, theres your answer, if you feel OK in front of jesus then it's not to worry...

    Lifesize Noah's Ark

I agree with both sides we are all guilty of both. Having possessions and moaning why people give to other things while others are in need while we ourselves could sell what we have to help them. People can argue this over and over again but it still won't make the change nothing unless the 1st...

Where's the line between struggling with sin and being scrupulous?

Just remember that God forgives. If I do something wrong I just remember that and repent and try not to do it again. But if I do I'll repent and be forgiven. God will always forgive. Don't stress about trying to be perfect because nobody is. Not even Ned Flanders. God sees how much you try so if...
