  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Is the (pre-trib) rapture just escapism?

I find that people rarely change their mind through comments sections in general, so that makes sense. I suppose that usually people who are confident enough to type out their view usually are difficult to persuade. I myself have had a similar journey. I used to be pretrib by default but...

Is the (pre-trib) rapture just escapism?

I made this video about whether or not a pretrib rapture is Christian escapism. In case you don't to watch through the video, my main point is that it is indeed Christian escapism for some people. Why I don't believe in evolution...

What do you think of the possibility that evolution took place for millions of years, then, at some point in time, God breathed the breath of life into a creature to turn him into a human with a spiritual nature?

    Revelation 12:12

Not for sure on the meaning of this particular statement, but we can use Revelation to interpret Revelation here. Multiple times in Revelation, John tells us that the time is short for Jesus to return. Therefore, if we assume that this "time is short" is a reference to the same shart period of...

What Do you think about the Millennial Reign?

I have been studying the topic for a long time, and I am interested in your viewpoints on the millennium of Revelation 20. What view do you have, and what reasons (specifically from the scriptures) convinced you of your current position? I also made a video on the subject here, so please let me...

Yes Christianity is a Religion AND a Relationship

You are exactly right! Using strange definitions to get people in the door is inherently going to breed a lot of confusion and false assumptions about Christianity. Good works are what we do out of love towards the God who saved us. Indeed, I wouldn't treat my wife terribly because I love her...

Amen! There are so many ways the New Testament portrays of gospel, all of which give us an insight into how beautiful it is. Can't wait for the marriage supper of the lamb when religion and relationship find their climax!

Yes Christianity is a Religion AND a Relationship

A lot of people like to say things like "Christianity is a relationship not a religion". While people who say this usually have a positive intent to prevent works-based salvation, this is not a true statement. Christianity absolutely is a religion, and we should not try to change the...
