CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My user name is Anthony2019 but my real name is Graham.
I live in Staffordshire, England,.close to the Cannock Chase forest. I bought a house here a couple of years ago and absolutely love it here. With nature on my doorstep, there are plenty of opportunities for enjoying the great outdoors.
My Faith
People describe me as being contemplative, open-minded and having a very dry sense of humour! I love to hear other people's stories and experiences. I think it helps me to be more understanding, and from a faith perspective, perhaps less judgemental and more compassionate. I like to think I am right, but I am not always right all of the time!
I am a Christian, a confirmed member of the Church of England, part of the Anglican Communion. I am Anglo-Catholic in theology and practice.
My Background
I grew up in a children's home in the 1970s and 1980s. Technically you could say that I was orphaned, as I had lost contact with both of my parents. Yet God had his hand on my life, back at that time and even today. The caregivers in the childrens home were fantastic, very much like family, and I am still in contact with them even to this day. Here is my story.
My Hobbies and Interests
My hobbies include outdoor pursuits, especially walking, cycling and swimming. I play the piano and organ and love a wide variety of music. I have written my own music compositions. I also love amateur photography.

I am a Registered Adult Nurse and Deputy Manager. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including an acute hospital and various nursing homes in the community.
