  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Looking for a bit of Information

Grace. What is meant by 'forgiving another person's sin'? If you take forgiveness as you imply, then we should just walk down the street and forgive the sin of every man we meet on the sidewalk. Doesn't the person needing salvation and sins forgiven have a part to play in confessing...

Looking for a bit of Information

I know of no scripture that elevates a priest above that of the common man when it comes to forgiving any man's sin. Without the scripture to back the theology of any church, one must not accept it.

Looking for a bit of Information

Sorry to be so late in getting back to you. A Friend quotes these verse as proof that the Catholic Priest can forgive sin, because Jesus told the disciples that they had the power to forgive sin.

Looking for a bit of Information

Can some one explain these verses while keeping in context with the rest of the teachings of Jesus? How do you deal with these passages relating to the forgiveness of sins: John 20:21-23 "Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." And with that...

    Just wondering

I have a lot of admiration for the S.A. too. I have seen the type of work they do for the homeless, those in trouble with the law and so on. I also happen to believe that when you see your church acting out of character for a Bible believing church then you should speak up. From the books I...

    A Modermist

"The integrity of the Bible as the infallible Word of God and the deity and atoning death of Christ stand or fall together. Those who deny the one generally deny the other. And one who denies either the Word of God or the deity of Christ is a modernist." <> Evangelist John R. Rice <> Is Jesus...

My e-mail address etc. were just hacked. Some of my family and friends received e-mails saying that I was in London and ill and needed money to get transportation home. The truth is I have never been in London in my life. My relatives were smart enough to check with "the Newf." my wife...
