Do you feel closer to God ? Has this experience helped you ? ( I ask because I am terminally ill and am trying to see how God is using this for me ) I am afraid and not feeling very triumphant

I find that I have to keep going to the word , I struggle with feeling not accepted by God , I have found it’s frustrating to me when I hear a lot of Christians claiming God speaks to them, causes feelings and have all kinds of experiences , but so far I have to keep coming back to Gods word...

How did God show you you were following the wrong path ?

I think you are wrong , I wish people would spend more time visiting and getting to know each other , If you look at scripture it places a heavy importance on how we treat the brotherhood , we are supposed to walk with each other encourage , help ,pray for and so on .

So judging from the response God forgives unless in the case of divorce ? We can fall make mistakes be redeemed except in divorce and if you are remarried no hope for you ? So do you get a divorce if remarried ?

I was told that it helps to understand culture and how a first century middle eastern person would have interpreted that , one person said that they would have understood that to be people, nation and so on , that seems to make more sense to me because that is exactly what the gospel can do...

So does God not forgive ? We are free from the law unless it’s divorce ? What happens when a spouse refuses sound teaching ? Refuses reconciliation? Causes harm ? Or abuse to spouse or children ? The innocent spouse is trapped ? And not able to have a loving relationship again because perhaps...

You have to ask yourself is the “ truth “ helpful in anyway to you or your relationship ? Do you need every detail of a past relationship ? My ex would just use any info as ammo when she got mad would constantly bring up stuff that I did wrong like a way of rubbing my nose in it like a bad dog ...
