I see nowhere in Scripture that God's church will become so corrupt that He abandons it to no longer be useful at all. This could happen to individual, local churches on an individual basis; churches that are established by man rather, than God; churches going by man's teaching, rather than Scripture. The rapture, will be the rapture of the true church established on earth by God, composed of all true, born-again believers on the earth at that time. Many local churches will see only the true Christians in them disappear at the time of the rapture. Of course Christians have disagreed on various things at various times, been divided, established their own "denominations", set up local church by their own preferences, etc., and so are not ever expected to be totally in agreement until we are changed (1 Corinthians 15:51-53; Philippians 3:21; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) and caught up to be with Christ. We will just have to live with this. Romans 14:12.
