There's a big difference between pharmaceutical grade FDA approved fentanyl administered by medical professionals, and the impure and unstable illicit junk sold out on the street. 0.002 grams (roughly equivalent to 12 grains of table salt) of fentanyl is deadly. And Fentanyl is about 50 times more addictive than heroin. If you were to compare it to alcohol, it would have to be a type where 1/2 of a teaspoon of it is deadly.

The government should do nothing about that, and instead provide treatment to after people get addicted to it. Let's just wait until they're hooked on the stuff and then try to fix them. Provided it doesn't kill them first. That really is the most logical and caring way to handle the problem.

Instead of destroying the stuff before it gets here, open up hundreds of treatment centers for the 1000 people per day who get addicted to a highly available and cheap extreamly addictive and deadly drug.
