Actually it does, the purpose of both is legislation to have or keep more non-citizens in the country.
It's sad they had any Republicans on that ridiculous bill that promoted more, not less, illegals into the country. That's why it was already dead on arrival in the House. Don't you remember they even falsely claimed Joe could not act to stop the flow of immigration without new legislation?

It's more about control than paranoia -- to fundamentally change America and create a one party-system.
Their fear is loss of control, they were telling people what kind of car they could drive, even what pronouns to use, and fear has changed to desperation.
It has nothing to do with the legal immigration process, everything to do with skipping the line of legal immigration in a quest for power and control.
