  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So despite you having been shown it is rubbish, you intend to post it again and again in the hope that someone who hasn't seen it being debunked might fall for the deception. That shows despicable character.
I don't know what your moaning at, it's not been debunked in my book.

I must admit, the first couple of times you posted it I ignored it. But then I started looking up some of the references.
The thing's a joke and the person who produced it should be embarrassed that it just shows their inability to read Scripture and argue logically.

Really - I thought it was as a stroke if genius & I think Nathan Roberts understands Scripture perfectly well.

Of course not. You just block your ears and cry "la, la, la, la". You don't engage in any rational discourse when your views are challenged.

If that's the case then you & few others on here must have it.
Not at all.

I'm not saying for one minute that you do have it, and I certainly wouldn't wish it on anyone.
But the fact is, there must be a reason why you ask questions on here, or post pictures/YouTube clips; get them answered, debate those answers and then, weeks, or months later, post the same thing again. You must know that people disagree with you and, in many cases, you have been proved to be wrong.
If you don't have a bad memory, what's the alternative? That you are doing deliberately to wind people up? That you want to get attention or a higher post count which might make you feel good for a while?

You will probably say that these are your beliefs and you want others to know the "truth". Considering the number of people who disagree with you and prove that you are mistaken - not only in your understanding of science but also your knowledge of Scripture - how's that going for you?

You haven't answered my post, #1,973. I'm guessing you can't.

I don't know what your moaning at, it's not been debunked in my book.
So explain it then.
He can still be wrong.
And the fact that you purchased some of these Flat Earth cards and handed them out, proves nothing - except that you don't always check your sources before you pass them onto others.

1. "earth created before the sun",
"universe is complete",
"creation worshippers",
"Be still and know that I am God",
"everyone sees Jesus",
and others do not even mention, never mind prove, the shape of the earth.

2. "Matthews Bible mentions flat earth" is a completely ridiculous statement. The reference given is 2 Samuel 11:11. This verse is in the middle of a passage about David and Bathsheba. Bathsheba's husband was telling David that he was not going to go home and seduce his wife while his men were fighting a war. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the shape of the earth. Putting that on a poster titled "200 Flat earth verses" is an embarrassment to whoever designed the poster.

3. "The earth has ends", contradicts your verse from Isaiah which you insist says the earth is a circle. Ditto, "the earth has corners".

4. "earth has pillars and hangs on nothing" contradicts your statement from another thread that the foundations are rooted in the underworld.

This is only a few of the problems. The biggest being that all verses are taken out of context so that the Bible is made to say whatever the author of the poster wants it to say.
I've no doubt this guy is a born again Christian - the shape of the earth doesn't affect that. I highly doubt he knows how to read the Bible.

And what are they ?
You've been told what some of them are - stop trying to change the subject because you don't know the answer.

I don't know what your moaning at, it's not been debunked in my book.
Well, let's look at the first few of the actual Scriptures the list of 200 plus mentions:

Genesis 1:1-19 doesn't mention the shape of the earth. You have agreed that nowhere in Genesis 1 is the earth's shape mentioned.

Genesis 2:1 says:

“Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.” (Ge 2:1 NKJV)

Again, no mention of the earth's shape.

Job 38:4-5 makes no mention of the earth's shape.

Nor does Jeremiah 31:37, which says:

“Thus says the LORD: “If heaven above can be measured, And the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel For all that they have done, says the LORD.” (Jer 31:37 NKJV)

Proverbs 25:3 says:

“[As] the heavens for height and the earth for depth, So the heart of kings [is] unsearchable.” (Pr 25:3 NKJV)

No mention of shape.

Isaiah 40:22 says:

“[It is] He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants [are] like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.” (Isa 40:22 NKJV)

That verse does not say "The earth is a circle." It mentions the circle or circuit of the earth. Yes, the earth has a circle, and it has a circuit. The verse doesn't say that the the earth is a flat disc, does it?

The context of Job 38:13-14 is the way the coming of dawn causes the shape of the earth (mountains, valleys, etc.) to become visible. You have to ignore that context in order to make the verses mean that the whole earth is flat.

Well, that is the first seven of the 200 plus so-called "Flat Earth Bible Verses." I don't have the time to refer to all 200-plus.

And you don't seem to understand that that's because your views are not based on science - sometime, not even on reality.

"The Elite" want to con us. "The Elite" lie to us. "The Elite" want us to believe".
Come on!

Not at all, the reason is to get my point across to as many as possible.

No they haven't.
Yes they have. For example, here is a quote of one of Strong in Him's posts:

"1. "earth created before the sun",
"universe is complete",
"creation worshippers",
"Be still and know that I am God",
"everyone sees Jesus",
and others do not even mention, never mind prove, the shape of the earth.
