The moon is in the sky above our heads, same place the sun and stars are.

But if the moon is just over the horizon, wherever that might be, everyone sees exactly the same thing. But that isn't the case. If it's just over the horizon in London, it will look upside down if seen just over the horizon in Sydney.

Excuse the quick sketch, but it shows exactly what I mean.

Your flat earth map is completely wrong as well. Australia isn't long and thin. Having driven across it I can guarantee that.

Ok yall need a video for the discussion

In watching the video it struck me that this is a geological formation caused by spheroidal weathering. There are examples of this type of erosion through out the world. Some creating really interesting formations.

The road rises and fall along its entire length. At eye level you can only see about 3 miles to the horizon. With my drone at 300 feet, the view is out to 21 miles. The drone can see trucks approaching that it can't see at 6 feet.

Same looking out to sea. There might be no ships in sight at ground level, but send the drone up to 1,000 feet and it can see ships almost 40 miles away. How do you explain that?

To @Apple Sky...please don't ignore this. How do you explain it?

It's the middle of the Scottish Highlands and the Scottish weather is terrible at the best of times. Have you never heard of weathering?

If a piece of a ship is high above the water (so that ripples or waves don't come into it) and the water is planar, then that piece of ship should be visible to any eye that is also above the level of the plane.

But we know that the altitude of one's eye affects what one can and cannot see, because the curvature of the earth interposes itself.

Because of perspective, objects will rise of they are below the horizon and drop if they are above, and become smaller, so that eventually even a big boat will be covered by a small wave that’s a mile or two in front of it. Eventually you won’t see the object at all because we don’t have infinite resolution in our optics and simply can’t take in all the light.

I think the Debunk coin table video proved this well. Before he zooms in there is no gap between the coin and the table.
