  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You have taken this verse completely out of context. Acts 19:5 and 1 Corinthians 114-16 Paul did baptize people, not in his name, but in the name of Christ, who commanded that his followers be baptized, Mark 16:16 Acts 2:38 1 Peter 3:21 Acts 16:33 Romans 6:3-4 Galatians 3:27 Colossians 2:12 1 Corinthians 12:13 You will not find any scripture that says baptism is no longer required but just the opposite.

And I will begin with Eph 4:5

# 1 ONE LORD

# 2 ONE FAITH

# 3 One BAPTISM

# ONE // is the Greek WORD HEIS

# A //. THERE IS BAPTO

# B. //. THERE IS BAPTISM

# C. //. THERE IS BAPTISMA

# D // THERE. IS. SPRINKING

# E. //. THERE IS BAPTISTES

# F //. AND. what about the BAPTISM for. the DEAD IN. 1. Cor 15:29

Which. is the ONE BAPTISM of Eph 4:5.

And the Greek BAPTISM // BAPTISMA is mentioned 22 times from. MATT through. 1 Peer 3:21

What say you. ??

In your reply you seem to support that baptism is a requirement. Yes, there is only one baptism that is for the remission of sins but this baptism must be the real one not something based solely on some emotional response driven by some preacher at an alter call. Only GOD knows if a person truly repents, you can’t fool GOD. People like this might as well just take a bath for all the good it would do. Most people who call themselves Christians don’t even understand the concept of baptism and don’t know what it is that condemns them to death and afterwards return to the very things that does. Baptism and the laying on of hands is what was the common practice in the church. Today things are done differently because no preacher or pastor or minister are themselves converted. The great deception has taken over and GOD and Christ only at this time controls all things having to do with the church. The professing Christian churches today are the blind leading the blind and true Christians are called out of this Babylon not into it. Jesus said plainly that the elect were impossible to deceive because they have been taught by GOD through the mediator Jesus Christ. The Elijah Jesus said was to come and restore all things has come and it isn’t some man, it’s GODS spirit. If you had the knowledge you would understand that baptism replaced circumcision.
